Additional required files: I've not had to use the D3DCompiler_47 file as I use Windows 10. I have added the 3DFXSplashDlls and D3DRM files all as described on the download page.

The old engine has troubles with modern CPU with integrated graphics on laptops that also have a ... don't use them: it may cause serious issues. This can also be needed sometimes for the new engine or some other applications. About the NEW engine, if you have troubles on a system ...

Ok problem solved . i removed the prefs.xml file and replaced it with the prefs.xml file from beta engine and solved problem some what . but i need to redo setting ingame sound/resolution etc But i would still like how to get old xml file back so i dont have to tweak all ...

Old engine full install is on our servers; now making the much bigger New engine install.
