Oh, from what I understood Mop's old PC was built into a Cooler Master Centurion 5 case. This one's still up to date, so could've reused the case. Antec works fine too though.Chrisax wrote:Good luck and grrats, Mophro.
What does Alpha means? The same Centurion 5 ?

Re: AO's mouse controls
In WoW the controls I use on the mouse (which are the game defaults) are: * No buttons - mouse moves cursor (similar to AO) * Right Button - mouse spin turn toon (similar to AO) * Left Button - mouse look (similar to AO IF I remember properly) * Right+Left Button - mouse movement turns character WH...

Re: WTB new game rig PST
Yep you're right there. I pointed Mop towards the Cooler Master case and PSU because I know for sure that it works: I have the same ones installed right here (well but a 100W heavier PSU). Same deal for memory, I use OCZ and know it works. :) Reasoning behind the AMD processor is that AMD is the bud...

Re: WTB new game rig PST
In the past I've had premade, however I always wonder wether the components picked are optimally working together. Im hoping that with a prebuilt that will be taken care of. Maybe im a bit naive :). I.. guess they usually work pretty well together, and if you do run into trouble the whole computer ...

Re: WTB new game rig PST
BSOD is purely a software problem, you know that right? A format C:\ and reinstall of Windows is likely to fix that (unless of course you manage to narrow down and solve the cause of the BSODs). If you still want to buy a new computer: - Do you want any specific brand or don't care? - Do you want WL...

Re: GeForce 9600 Series info (For Ceokittymeow)
now the 9600GS requires dedicated PCIe power from the PSU... So now comes finding what i need for a PSU, i have atm a 500ish watt cheapy brand from the Newegg racks :) Any suggestions to help supplement the card? Modular power supply unit ftw, and if you are planning on upgrading the puter further ...

Re: GeForce 9600 Series info (For Ceokittymeow)
1024 V-RAM is an overkill, basically used by the manufacturer to increase the card's epeen size. It's used if you load heavy textures. For what it's worth my own videocard (bought 1 month or so ago) is a Geforce 275GTX, 896 MB V-RAM for I think it was ~180 euro. I've never ran into trouble with runn...
