OK, time to disclose a bit, as the public test is done.


-Alien Sector 42 is the new APF zone. To enter it you need one data core from each of the current sectors bosses (13, 28, 35), and turn it to a Kyrz'Och encrypted key to the Unicorn Security Officer. Ten, from another NPC you'll get the Decrypted key. Right clicking the Decrypted key close to ICC or the landing pad will teleport you.

-If you have the key you can enter Sector 42 at ANY time! :) (WT AP raids!!!) But you'll have to wait 9 hours until you can re-enter it.

-Official notes: "The playfield is open for players with the key to enter at any time. Showing your key to the Unicorn official gives you twenty minutes to enter, leave (willingly or otherwise!) and re-enter as often as you like. Once you enter you have an hour and a half within the playfield to fight as many aliens as you like before being recalled to the staging area. You will also be timed out from re-entering for a period of time up to nine hours (a maximum of seven and a half if you stayed in the playfield for the full hour and a half)"

-Sector 42 doesn't like zerg raids: try to zerg it, it will zerg you back. The spawn of aliens is (more or less) exponentially based on the number of raiders. Also aliens got smarter and send the most annoying fighters when they want to counter a zerg raid (or any raid btw... pfffff....).

-The optimum is 30ish players or 25-30. Go with 90?! Enjoy!!

-The sector is based on some bottlenecks: dual fences are installed and you have to cross BOTH fences before your 5 minutes protection nano (that you get just before the fence) runs out. During this time, be happy: aliens will come to prevent you from crossing the fences!

-You have to move fast: you have 90 minutes and, believe me, it is short!

-Your'll discover a new alien semi-boss: the Alien Heavy Patroller, almost everywhere and especially when you don't need him! He looks like a mini General and he is bad. Ah yes, atm, his respawn time is a minute (randomly +/-)... The only good news is he drops CRUs.

-Another bad news is Aliens can cross their fences without damage to catch you! Enjoy! (This might change though)

-At "some time", enjoy alien carpet bombing! (Or something like that)

-The main mobs you'll encounter before you die... ooops... I mean during your first steps are:
.Alien Heavy Patrollers: mini-generals type, see above
.Alien Vectors: they spawn Alein larvae and they are very dangerous because of that! Kill in priority (This is the time an Alien Heavy Patroller will happily repop!)
.Larvae... think of the end of sector13: welcome, this is worse!
.Drone harvesters: they will created Coccons for your enjoyment
.Cocoons: you already know them

-The sector is made of roughly 3 "paths" each one leading to a dual fences system and then to an alien tower where a boss will spawn at. Expect something bad when you think you just won!

-Items POSSIBLY related to Sector 42.... not sure they will be all activated and not sure they are really Sector 42 loot!

Im thnking this will be good for cru farming :)

Also that engi,crat wen wen is pretty bad :/ Crat nukes have a 3500 taunt on them.

Yes, but 3500-2500 = 1000 taunt which is little enough to leave aggro to tank or other damage dealers and even possibly pets with a it of luck. Of course, it is better for teamwork than for soloing. Need to be tested though.

Time to plan some apf raids as some could use a key.I know I need one and maybe its time to restart org level raids on unused zones.

I did area 42.FYi.It was crazy AXP.And being new ofc it was fun.
