Hey folks,

I've been trying to get hold of Hyde's TwinkSheet, but it seems that AP's FTP server is no longer allowing me to grab it anonymously. Anyone still have it and care to upload it at another location, or mind fixing the FTP please?

The reason is we changed our servers and the URL you tried to use for the FTP doesn't exist anymore as the anonymous FTP was removed (we almost never used it) .

Hyde asked me about it and as we don't have an anonymous FTP now, I created a space on the server where he can upload the files he wants and then just give an hhtp address to anyone wanting the file. Simple.

But it seems Hyde hasn't done it yet.

If someone has the file, I can upload it.

Google Docs caused artifacts the last time I tried to post it there. It seems to work but gets very slow and starts having problems along with colors being messed up in the translation. Just a ton of data. Even if it does work 100% now, the Excel version is probably going to be preferred by anyone doing heavy work in it.

I still have the XLS file for it. At this point I'd prefer someone post it who can maintain it as I'm not planning to. If someone wants to volunteer to do so, mail me @ hyde@athenpaladins.org (Alpha just mail me and I'll send it to you for personal usage, too). Otherwise I'll try to get to posting it this weekend. Chris sent me the info ages ago but I just never got back to it.

Hey Shar m8, I will speak to u ingame when I get the chance to see you but thanks very much for the opportunity to abuse your server. Also I would like to dedicate a thread for the server & if people have specific requests possibly others can upload movies or music for requests.

Hopefully it wouldnt get out of hand :-)

For instance I cannot for the life of me find Saw 2 for my collection it seems to have gone missing.
Another movie I am desperately trying to find is Empire Records.

I also keep getting an error "530 Authentication Failed......"

Sure Username & pass are correct?
Anyone else connected or having issues?

Yes I know I could rent them & rip them but thats illegal :-)

Just a thought, possibly not a good one with all the copyright issues atm

I don't think we want to upload illegal music/movies on Shartris' company server. He could get into trouble with the government for that, since I believe companies are under a much stricter inspection for illegal media than individuals.

On another note, Saw II is downloadable via Newsbin:

You're just going to need a (probably paid) newsbin server with a good retention to grab it.

Otherwise, most ISPs offer 30 days retention news servers for free.

You know Grindy i was just thinking of the same thing, i wanted to share some music with Kitty, i setup a folder called music on the server. I do have a l1GB limitation on space configured so as long as it does not exceed that i think we are ok.
