150 S10 Enforcer /meatshield

Hi guys.. I normally don't ask for handouts, but My abilities in AO are limited to DD, tanking and being an ok healer.

I have no idea how to farm symbs or make PB's and I'm too old a dog to learn new tricks. (also, these items are out of my price range or NOT EVEN IN GMS <---bleh)

So, without any more fuss Here is a list of items I need to be a better tank:

QL 180-200 right arm infantry symb
QL 180-200 left arm infantry symb
QL180-200 waist infantry symb

(not needed but I want these....and don't have the money atm to just go buy)

gallant flapper ribbon
ring of burning flesh (name?)

If anyone has one of these and is not using it, please let me borrow it. I write down all my borrows so you get it back, either by replacement or I return it. (ALWAYS)

Ok, I realise what the problem is.

1. I have the top QL left arm symb that I can use... at 150, the top QL LA symb is 140. buh.

2. the Right arm is QL 180, and it isn't much better.

Here is where I ask for help:

I will be 100% pvm dueling 2 Crispy Chiropteras: In this case what should I put into Rarm implants and Larm implants?

Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

Standard issue left arm is:
faded: ?
bright: matter meta
Shiny: brawl/AAD/AAO

Right arm is:
faded: fast attack/AAO/AAD
bright: Brawl
shiny: main wep skill (1he)

2 things to consider:
1. I'm wearing mostly CM, and probably won't have too much trouble hitting the mobs.
2. As an enforcer, there just isn't any possibility of dodging anything... UNLESS, koss, and mortus are rolling with us +GSF. In which case, AAD in left arm might be really useful.

Please advise.

Uhmm, you got your implant memory messed up.

Suggest to look into a Sword of Curiosity/Wonder for epic crits in main hand.

QL180 Rarm symb if:
- You need Brawling.
- You need Strength
- You need FastAttack

EIther way AAD is ftw especially for a tank.

lups, I made almost exactly those: wep range vs. fast attack and the strength for MM

And they are the same. I'm especially stoked though on equipping a QL 200 infantry eye without maxing treatment... I came up 22 points under ftw.. on trox no less.

that said, I could have saved a few thousand IP on MM if I'd reperked into ambi. etc. before equipping weps, but the IP had already been put there, so w/e.. but, it DOES give me option of swapping weps. ftw.

Now: other stuff to think about:

sitting on 14k hp no osb's
26% nano cost self

Where to put the remaining IP?
I can get another 400hp in BD (90% maxed)
I can get probably 600-700 nano pool (40% maxed)
I can get a faster recharge on fast attack (40% maxed)
brawl is close to maxed.
nano skills are all fine. (TS is low, but w/e)
first aid is close to maxed to use QL 125 nano stims
treatment is 95% maxed
Comp lit is about 90% but I can equip a 300 viral compiler easily, and thats all I want from comp lit.
Nano resist is 30%, but I don't really want to put more in since it's so expensive.
Dodge range is 0%, duck 0%, evade close maxed.
runspeed is 90% maxed
so Basically: I can put some IP into NP for more nano, put some into Fast attack to speed up recharge, and sink the rest into BD/RS.. i think thats what I want to do.


Stuff I need:

when I win a strong bot I will upgrade hands to 224 mercs for more hp/ACs/aad
I need a Right wrist rainbow hued arul (38 rad dmg)
(would like to get a ring of burning flesh, but not necessity)
eventually I may trade the Dchest for a merc chest, since the Dchest offers no HP.
may do some BS at some point to get a enforcer ring but no time soon.

Since this is a sector 10 twink i would go for max hp possible and a high SoC/SoW
since you will have 2 challanger procs up most of the time and hitting 3-5K crits with your SoC/SoW 9 add dmg isnt really worth it from rock crusher =/

Not sure evades are gonna do anything against the mobs you need it too, prolly all it will do is make you invincible up to mid but when you hit the higher aliens and general i dont think it will matter.

And if you are going for SoW/SoC i would go for a really high AI scope in hud 3 for crits( 2x igoc would be nice but i cant recomend that due to prize lol!)

So basicly imo you should grab Pata for back, token board for neck, SoW for Rhand, something else for hands( i would use 224 enduring rather)
I would ditch the totw pad and even put on dodga quest pad for hp/nano/first aid or nball
The difference between Dchest and CM i think will be very small
also as you mentioned you can prolly do better @ rings

Hmm, I appreciate your advice dock, however, I'll tell you what I'm aiming for:

high HP, so-so evade-cls, high add dmg, good -nano cost.

As enforcer, I don't need huge crits.
Igocx2=1.6B
SOW=350m

barrow strength, motr =free
having 4% more crits on a wep with a 1K end dmg better crit is not as good as having rad dmg well represented in armour set up. With final setup, I'm hoping for:
38+38+15+15=106 more rad dmg than all other dmg types (which will be on the scale of: 50+32+15+9+42+7*5+15+10+3=211)

with 106 more dmg on rad, vs a slower attack, less cost (2%), 4% more crit, 47 less dmg (on rad and disease), and 2B (which I don't have atm.) It's not worth it.

Even if you JUST look at the add dmg vs crit:
Main hand dmg:
Over 10 seconds you would do about 9829 points of damage. (with 1 crispy, 317 add dmg,4% crit)
Over 10 seconds you would do about 9067 points of damage. (with 1 SOW, 164 add dmg, 8% crit)

Offhand:
Over 10 seconds you would do about 7372 points of damage. (crisply offhand/crispy main hand)
Over 10 seconds you would do about 8405 points of damage. (crispy offhand/SOW main hand)

Add them up:
Crispy+crispy=9829+7372=17201
SoW +Crispy=9067+8405=17472

thats at full agg. So, at full def, the SoW would be slower, do less dmg and with 2% less cost, -40 aad, -40aao, roughly 2B credits cost, I'll stick with the add dmg, and cost ^^

Don't forget: this is a PVM setup, not PVP.

BTW: lvl 90 atm and reequipping , then off to foremans for a ACTA then back to tiigs/hecks. wewt!

need to equip 4 new symbs now to add some AAD, more nano skills.

What I need:

-QL 180-225 Com relay
-1 x TL 4 and 5 ring of power physics and ring of power melee
-150 LVL locked rad dmg arul saba R wrist
-To do the bront burger quests (prototype board and for prof nano) rojo?
-A bit of help teaming/leveling/OST from 110-120 would be awesome if anyone has a bit of time tonight.

reply on that pvm vs pvp stuff:

As enf in s10 you can do craploads of dmg, and what teams most often lack to actually do anything but mid is dmg. I've been in so many raids where we went for some side boss and at some point we just couldnt kill fast enough and died, happens often even with two teams.

Doc: I actually revisted your advice about a SOW.

After some preliminary runs in S10, my initial impression is: my damage is very good, (not as much as a SPB sold), but very good.

I have currently for add RAD dmg:
combat hud +50
arul sabax2 +76
barrow strength +15
ring of power physics +22
Dchest +42
totw gloves +9
5XCM parts@7 each +35
symbs +10
(no MOTR, but .. will soon) (+32)
(no token board, will soon) (+20)
for a total of : 259+(52)= 311 add rad dmg (235 add all dmg)

Ok, so thats making a lot of extra damage, but, one thing I didn't factor in is the number of crits I'm getting... I'm currently hitting about 30% crits on average, not, as I originally assumed 4-5%

so, I think with a SoW/SoC I'd be loading up on the high damage on those crits which would really improve the overall damage. The only problem then, is what to do about the arul sabas... I think I have to keep them rad dmg and put crispy in main hand, and get the +76 damage on the brawl and fast attack. (adding 76*(60/6 + 60/12)= 1140 dmg per minute on specials alone and an extra 76*(36/2)= 1368dmg on regulars, vs, just 1140 dpm if I were to use the SoW on main hand.

The only other thing that is currently under consideration, is whether to use a crit scope to max out crits (IF I can keep both weaps at 1-1) possibly a 8 crit scope or something with -250 inits or so. I'm going to look into these possibilities.

I just want to add some info about evades in sec10. My atrox mp has 900ish evades and some aad (its in full combined officers armor, so thats from symbs alone) and it evades over half of the hits from "normal" mobs, making me able to take on 5-6 aliens at a time (unless you get those nasty cha'hiru or whatever they are called)

Docsider is prolly 100% right about the mobs that matter tho, evadeing the high level ones and the bosses is prolly impossible for enfo, BUT, as I said, you should not underestimate evades in there for the rest of the mobs imo.

Oh, and NR man! There is alot of nuking aliumz. they hurt!

and on a side note. Brawl does melee damage, so the aruls don't effect it unless you use the damageoveride nanoline (afaik)
