Phixels endgame setup - step by step

Post by Mophro »

Hello,

Id like to get your thoughts about the setup I have envisioned for my fixer, endgame wise.
If you know me, you know that I will be aiming for a PvM setup, I'm hoping that my focuses in that field will be 1. not being hit (survivability) and 2. damage, damage and damage.

First to present to you is my imp/symbiant setup. Two slots specifically but if you have thoughts about the other 12 slots let me know.

Phixels' implants and symbiants

End of transmission ... for now ... more to follow.

in left wrist?

an implant? but isn't artillery LW pretty nice?

You'd want NR/RS/MR anyway, add some dmg ftw. I dunno if art has all that, but that would be optimal in my opinion.

nice EOE.

Well it's either range NF or skill lock, but you want first aid either way.

-skill lock and range NF will cost a bundle, either way.

So you deem "Xan Left Hand Symbiant, Artillery Unit Alpha" best choice?

Yes. It has -skilllock and first aid, and to boot it's cheap and doesn't give damageshields (that can break roots).

Also consider an Evade/Dodge/Healdelta Leg implant instead of Artillery Thigh, if you plan on soloing, that little bit of extra healing might be very nice. :)

I think Solitus fixer can get a QL300 EOE in with a lot of twinking, too, btw. Haven't ran the calcs myself though. I'm 100% positive Omni could do it a long time ago but they cheat with their gunships.

what lupus said, except, imo I wouldn't get too attached to a 300 EOE, unless you plan on losing: sleep, your hair, your relationship or your job.

other than that, ya left hand art, ftw.

Well not worrying about the calcs atm :). All I could get my hands on was this QL 272. I believe that odds are I wont get my hands on a 300 EOE the coming two years.

Phixels get dressed!

Post by Mophro »

So here is my auno setup for Fixer's dress. Not sure about a lot of the slots.

Give me some input please! :)

Main focus points are damageoutput and evades/survivability.

I'd go for Combat bracer + arul instead of 2x arul for some more hp, DB combat chest instead of dchest (more versatile, the damage is almost the same and it gives more + hp). I would probably go for CSS instead of CC. Sure, you can do more damage but you are loosing out on lots of evades. For board I say go with defence board over combat for survivability. For rings: just swap between what you need for the moment.

Symbiants looks pretty sweet :)

edit: oh, forgot: is it PvP or PvM? I assumed PvM. There you will benefit more from the +HP imo, due to %hots and stuff (also not getting hit if you end up tanking). If you are gonna go for heavy DD you better have enough HP to soak up some hits if you pull aggro or turn into the tank.

Thank you Mort, really appreciate that you spent some time going over my stuff.

added "Enhanced Dustbrigade Combat Chestpiece"
added "Perfected Infused Dust Brigade Bracer", thats what you meant right?
CSS? Think i was given advice to go CC, ill need to pick my mind why that was again.

Yeah, it was the perfected DB bracer I meant, my bad :P You could always keep a masterpiece combat bracer for some extra AR in pvp or more HP for your tank/hp setup.

CC vs CSS is a hard one. I would go for CSS, keeping with the fixer "role" of evasion (if you can say there is one). Also: better to avoid hits and keep dealing damage then taking hits and getting stomped. Dying once really sets your DPS back :P. The armor choice is probably the hardest one, since I assume you wont be able to keep two sets for easy swapping. For bracers/rings/utils you can always hotswap around for different situations (HUD3 being the perfect example with +dgm or +evades or even +hp easily swappable).

As I said.. that extra little healing MIGHT come in handy when soloing.

29*30=870 heal every minute. You decide if you feel that is worth it. :)

Oh, as for your setup, consider Electrophoridae Gloves. More so than e-DB boots, imho. :)
