Im guessing you did spec 2 quest x 5? Or just looted from mobs at Nero and down from Whispervale?

I haven't done spec 2 quest and haven't considered it yet fully.

The plan currently is to do quests en masse if needed, but only for those who need.

i.e. I only want to do school quest on the MP's

But I'm kinda wondering if I should do it on keeper and engi as well. Crat is kinda meh but I'll probably end up doing it on him too which would mean the whole 6 man troupe.

I'll hold off on it though for a bit, there's a lot of stuff to do before I need to complete it.

Weirdly it seems I only need spec 2 for the engineer for the level 100 dog.

I haven't run into any nanos I need for MP's that have a spec req, nor for keeper yet, nor for crat.

Remember that all these toons are for PVP/PVT so it's mostly RK/auras/high level RK nanos that are needed.

Update:

all toons are in reasonable shape now with 3 MP's casting demon/bela, engi with top slayer (thanks jay!), and crat with director grade bodyguard.

So I've got lots of nice firepower and I'm about 25% through the scheol quest which will give me the top nukes for MP's.

I've realized I'm going to have to make some concessions on gear... Normally I'd do all toons in CS/evades top true PVP gear for their level, but it's becoming clear to me that I may need to devise a new plan to ensure they don't run out of nano.

So I'm considering some somewhat irregular mechanics...

Stuff like boosting first aid and having stims on command for continuous nuking, and maxing out cost (requires combined officers not combined scouts), and this lesser known potential gem:

If I max matter met, it appears that I could get over the 1k hurdle on 2 of my MP's, and even if I didn't max it, I still need about 870ish for tumulten. I'm not sure exactly how it extrapolates but it might be worth another 600-800 nano per 65s which would boost recovery rate. The obvious choices are very limited:

* use nano aura on keeper (I'll have to)
* spam nano recovery on 110 MP (I'll have to)
* spam the self nano recover on the 109 MP's (this is a poor choice of perks but not sure what else to do, and no access to genius)
* impant/control symbs in all nano delta locations/max psychic, this is obvious, but doesn't work since RA is burst/add def, RW is burst/pistol/fling, and feet is AAD/dodge/EC

That leaves just precious few options. PNH will be a godsend but I don't have an NT in Box so that's a horrible oversight.

So I really think I need to cap nanocost as the primary method to ensuring there is lots of nano for nuking continuously

1 step away from first reward in Scheol quest.

It's been a long haul, and there's oodles more to go. It's taken me four days (four days of 2-3 hours each) of straight questing.

Last night I had some issues with toons dying in tricky spots (unred temple) with some area nukes that owned my engi in one hit (1800 Hp), but generally speaking it's been more or less a breeze so far.

Everything actually goes pretty smoothly since I'm moving all 6 toons at once and all toons essentially act like pets to my master (keeper). This means things like:

* traversing terrain
* killing mobs
* killing social mobs
* killing more difficult mobs
* killing very difficult mobs
* killing many many mobs
* killing spawned mobs (i.e. adolescent voidling etc. which update the entire team from only one PB)
is all very easy, and completely eliminates the need for a 220 escort.

On the other hand, some aspects are challenging and/or time consuming:
* doing 6 individual randomly generated dungeons before advancing (i.e. find Old Beit Bones, find Spun Pygmeus Platter, etc.)
* collecting 6x of each drop needed from a small group of mobs with sluggish spawn time (i.e. toxic shadows, mutant spiders, crusty eremite)
* collecting 6x of each environmental drop from a slowish respawn/finite area i.e. time+space collector to get those little jar things

Then you got the endless click through of dialogue/handing stuff to someone, and I have to alt tab about 600 times to finish a conversation sometimes which is eternally annoying.

Regardless, progress is steady, and even when I only complete one step in 1 hour, it's still closer to the goal and i'm just thankful Omni isn't on a big PVP push right now so I can dedicate time to this.

At the rate I'm going, I'm hoping to be complete by Wednesday or so next week.

I've given it some thought, and I've realized that this is way faster than doing each quest individually. I reckon it would take me three days (2 hours x 3 sessions) to complete school quest if everything went to plan. 6 toons * 3 days each is 18 play sessions. I think I'll complete it in half the time doing all at once. I know that seems like a pretty poor time/ effort reduction, but it's because the complexity of operating 6 toons at once and having to do everything 6 times along the way takes a very long time.

Newest MP setup for DD/continuous nuking.

I realized I needed a LOT more nanopool and capped cost - this setup gets me capped (-55%) nanocost selfed with -24% buffed. so I've added a few more items to flesh out -nanocost and boosted nanopool a bit. this setup is maxed out with 11% nano damage as well.

At 426 base cost should come down to: 192 nano/cast
1533 to 2725 base damage*111% = 1702 - 3025 + small add dmg = pretty big damage at level 109 every 2 seconds

I'm estimating a nanopool of about 5k (setup has 3021+207 pool*4 = 3850 from equip)

Continuous nuking to consumes pool at a rate of approximately:
192 nano/2s

Nanopool additions:
177/20s from keeper
spirit of purity = 375/20s (110 MP)

At (hopefully) 480 psychic base, I get a 10s frequency tick.
Setup posted gives base 29 nanodelta.
Org Nano Silo gives QL 300 -- +36 NanoDelta at 220, interpolating at level 109 I get 109*36/220 = 18ND
Crat buffs (non improved Soothing calm, called bot reproduction) gives 40 ND
Base ND is probably 4ND
Total ND is 29+4+18+40 = 91 ND /10s

Total replenishment rate is:
177/20s = 8.85/s
375/20s = 18.75/s
91/10s = 9.1/s
=36.7/s

vs 192/2s = 91/s

So, I need to use stims to make up the remainder which could make up... if I could use a QL 70 stim which is a bit of a stretch but I might be able to squeeze it at 528 first aid... gives 852 nano/40s

852/40s = 21.3/s

36.7+21.3 = 58nano/s

So at a consumption rate of 91nano/s and a replenishment rate of 58nano/s I'm losing 33nano/s

Annnnd the nano delivery rate for PNH is: 235/15s = 15.6 nano/s

which brings loss rate down to 17.3 nano/s

With a 5k pool that gives me roughly:

5000/17.3 = 5 minutes of straight nuking until I run out of nano.

That's pretty reasonable. I think, quite honestly, that I'd never need to nuke more than about 2-3 minutes in a row, however, a CT kill would obviously tax my nanopool. Clearly some things will help a LOT: reducing the tick rate on ND, boosting ND amount and maxing cost. On the upside, engi+keeper could also intermittently time the MP's/crats.

ya, clearly getting a 60 ND buff from crat would help a lot here, and taking small breaks to let the pool recover is necessity and making sure I always have PNH is obviously important as well. Combat nanokits could help too I guess.

Holy crap.

I'm finally nearing the end.

Last night/weekend I got some really tough steps done/partially done.

Namely:

Collect 3 types of visionist containers and put two of each corresponding vision type into each container.

Yes, I managed to farm all 3 nodrops on each char, and the 36 necessary visions to fill the containers without help.

The subsequent step is doing the stupid stories which I banged through without any problem, then got started on the sickly chimera's. An irritating as hell part of the quest... I completed on three toons and I've got another three to do tonight.

Then I'm on to the last couple steps and FINALLY done:

* tagging the greek hecklers

* kill the fire tree

Once that's done I'm going to farm a few more levels of AXP and I really need to locate a few com relays for three of my toons, then I'm on to twinking.

I've had a bit of time to think about some stuff, though, while mucking about in scheol hell, and I'm not entirely convinced I'm making the right decision on the CDR's. I'm aware they are quite crappy weapons, and I'm also aware that I really won't have any IP to put into ranged init, which makes it a slow firing cycle, meaning a lot of normal hits won't have time to charge unless I'm taking a break from nuking (which will happen frequently).

That said, perhaps it would be more valuable to equip bows for the obvious boost to PVP capability instead.

This stems, specifically, from recognition that the AI bow line for MP's has just got Aimed shot added to it which I can perk all the way into on my low MP's for a pretty substantial boost to AS/bow AR as well as get a couple of damage perks.

I originally thought QL 125 Ofab bows would be pretty decent...

Finished Scheol quest and did an AI raid last night looking for some com relays.

I need 3 so that's a big annoyance before I can get on with the twinking part. I could twink and then equip one once done but I'm afraid that I'll Over IP intel ... is that even a thing?...? anyway whatever. Scheol quest done.

I'm still on the fence on what weapons I want to use.

But I think I have to stick with the original plan of CDR's.

the original MP (Ladymeatball) is 110
keeper/engi/crat/ and the other two MP's are 109 and capped on research, with complete:
* Nasce key
* ely key
* school key
* scheol quest
* Ace Starr/Collar of amplification quest
* all nano controllers built
* all with research huds
* all have nano targeting helpers
* I have 3 fresh sets of basic armour (likely will need 3 more for combined, but I need to dig a bit to find bank rotters)
* I have 24 arithmetic bots ready to go
* I've bought all symbs (running/residing - 4 control brains, 4 control chest, 4 control waist, eye is too expensive, but I'd like to get 4 of it, but at 60m/each I'm struggling to find cash for it)
* engi/crat/2MP's have 2x CDR each

I need:

1 x 240 Excalibur for keeper (I am contemplating using pained panther however 240m vs 2m)
3 x AIT2 Communication relays
1x QL 125 MP ofab ring (Xtremetech ring of casting I think is the name)
2x Ql 175-200 OFAB MP chest
4x MP armour types (not sure what number type it is for armour upgrade)

~ 400 tokens worth of token guns which I think is about 4 backpacks of DCSD's (I'll have to farm this later) to get 1k boards on all toons; this one is a bit irritating because it would be much better to have the 1k boards prior to twinking. But at least the 400 token boards have 100 CL on them.

I doubt I'll find an EOE but you never know. This setup gives me pretty solid burst and will bring the recharge down, hopefully to around 10s.

Good pistol AR, oodles of nanoskills. I skimped a bit on HP but still not too bad.

I get online at your 5:30AM (I assumed you were in same TZ as Michigan)

And I usually go offline at your 8:30AM, sometimes on till 9AM.

Usually 5:30-6:30 is punctuated by numerous AFK's while kids aren't sleeping yet, and we're trying to corral them into their room.

no com relays yet.

Got awakened soul crystals on keeper, one MP, and all but one on crat.

Engi died too many times trying to warp team, so he's missing some

ladybeatball didn't get any yet.

To do's this weekend:

1. log noobasbots + ladybeatball +fren
2. collect missing soul crystals
3. get 5x demon hearts + cloak of necromancer build cloaks
4. get remaining books of spec 2 for engi
5. keep eye out for com relays

6. start twinking (noobasbots first, then metamorphicl, then whoever has a com relay, hopefully after that.)

Edit: oh and notably I found two EOE's last night. How retarded is it though that they are QL 100 and !L 164. I really could have used one at QL 130ish, but 164 is miles away from possible and the QL 100 is a bit gimpy. Regardless, the broader stat boost on the 100 EOE is better than the QL 200 eye I think, and a more reasonable choice than one of the uber-expensive QL 140 running control eyes (I bought 2 of them, one for each MP, at 50M, 63M each :/).

finished 4x cloak of the reanimated summoner x 4 and 1 x cloak of reanimated gladiator last night all at 1/5 with 3 awakened soul crystals so I can boost em when I'm twinking for best fit.

I thought I was going to do some of these as cloak of reanimated illusionist .... for MP's.

Now I am uncertain if I did it right. Regardless summoner/illusionist are both sufficient. The illusionist cloak gives 1% nano damage I think at 4/5 but I'm not sure if I would be able to wear it anyway.

To finish my 109 box I still need one com relay and twink up 2 chars.

It's almost finished.

I have some work to do behind the scenes to start making the multibox operation a bit smoother.

New todo's:

1. develop a self buffing script
2. build a hotbar for buffing 1/delay/2/delay/3/delay/4/delay/5/sit/nanokit/6/delay/7/delay etc - broadcasted to all toons, cast shells /pop shells could even buff pets too

3. reset noobasbots to get medallion, go farm last pages of Spec 2 book

4. finish twinking freneticist/build armour.

5. start twinking noobaskeep

6. get CR on ladybeatball

7. start with MP's for buffing script, easy
