AP Mentoring Program - If you want to learn more!

Post by Grind42 »

Greetings,

I thought I would make a post about this, concerning all New & Returning players to AO. I personally when online do not have anything of urgency to do, I play for fun & relaxation. Yes I have plans for toons & like to achieve things but am not online for the direct intent to lvl or loot phatz (ofc its always a bonus)

Im a pretty patient player who enjoys teaming & doing raids + PVP.

So what I am offering is the opportunity for others in the player base to contact me if they require assistance.
If I can help I will.

So post here & let me know, if I cannot assist perhaps someone else can.
I am not a master of all professions as well but I have fairly extensive knowledge about profs & basic mechanics of the game.

Regards
-Grind42

you rock! I have played AO since the game launched and never got so much team work style help from anywhere outside AP in all the years. Thanks for all the help along the way from all of you within AP. Some of you really deserve a pat on the back and a formal Salute!

I'm slowly heading back into it and noticed a mentor feature when pocking around the f-10 features, I thought that was what this thread was about #-o ... I still like it anyhow. So thanks for posting and allowing me to respond with a huge thanks to you all. Ill be around, just never know when. I miss AO very much, but real life has never really slowed down.

Cheers!,

(so.. what the heck is the "auto decline mentors invites" anyhow :?: )
Hi, Peter. What's happening? We need to talk about your TPS reports. Yeah. The coversheet. I know, I know. Uh, Bill talked to me about it.
Yeah. Did you get that memo?
Yeah. I've already taken care of it so it's not even really a problem anymore.

It's a function for the future mentoring system. If someone wants to mentor you, you can automatically refuse, like you reject inspect or duels for example.

Being a new player I was wondering one of the days you have time If you could show me around a bit. Like where the Org city is maybe where some SL name mobs are for a player around 50 just some back to the basics for a returning player after taking a 7 year break. Thanks for your time Grind.

if grind isn't online, I'm sure one/some of the org members would be happy to show you around a bit.

I certainly would like to take you on a tour. I thought we usually do this for new recruits (city, org spot, etc) anyways, but if you need a quick jaunt to look at some dyna locations, this can also be arranged.

For the moment, if you have SL, you could spend a bit of time looking around nascence.

Try to find A lady just to the right of the big hole in the wall if you run north north north when zoning into Nascence from Jobe. She'll ask you about "the bracer" but gives you a quest to do the garden key. If you have any trouble with it, ask in Org chat or Clan OOC.

If you've done the key quest already, by the time I meet up with you, we can do a better tour, more quickly. If not, I can get you started on that one as well :)

I volunteer for any garden escorts from the 1st to INF and help with any key quests from 1st to PEN... thats about all I got down with ease.
