Unreal 3 Samaritan Demo

Post by Chrisax »

 OK that's a knock-out!

Now the cold shower:

- if my info is accurate, to run this demo, it required 3 x Nvidia 580 which means at almost full load something like a 1250W power supply in a high-end PC of course (hello Sandy Bridge i2600)

- the demo is by night, it will probably be less good in daylight

- and the main question: to develop full games with that degree of precision in modeling, texturing, animation, etc... how much will it cost? 20M dollars for a single game?

Thats insane, looks more like a movie.

But, how do you even develop that?

seems overboard.
