Computer case epic fail?

Maybe you remember that more than one year ago, we had a look at some extreme computer cases...
http://www.athenpaladins.org/forums/vie ... =45&t=5609
Among them was the Thermaltake Level 10 designed by BMW, really "cheap" (only 971 USD at that time
) and that offered quite an uncommon look. (Being functional was another question, still being debated.)
Well Thermaltake created a new case based on the old one, for 270 USD street price... here it is, on the left, using a lot of plastic, the old one being on the right...
Epic fail?
Or is it just me?

It's just a case, you can put almost any regular PC component in it. I assume there will be a description on Thermatake's website soon.

just another over-priced PC case... it was overpriced at $970 due to the ridiculous BMW branding and back-story. it's still stupid overpriced at $270.
http://www.itworld.com/hardware/138740/ ... -a-pc-case I'd be happy with that, heck it's just a box anyway.

I like the idea of the box turning into an enclosure!

Complete fail....
Looks like an old home movie projector that our Dad's would make us keep our hands off of + all of those leftover parts he had from working on the family car... (the ones he said the car never really needed anyway).

Hey, you might like my new system and its case then, Fuze. I received the parts today and hopefully i'll assemble it tomorrow. I hope I'll have time to post about it, as some information could be interesting.
