Greetings! - Viex

Post by Viex »

My character name is Viex. I'm playing a Nanomage Enforcer, I'm a free player at the moment. I'm looking for a place to call home, having come back to AO from a long break. The last time I played AO was back in 2005, I decided to come back to see all the changes...plus, I have really missed AO and all the memories I had back in the day.

About me; I'm a casual player, logging on when I have a chance to play. Having read the rules and CoC of Athen Paladins, I agree to them and can promise to follow them to the best of my ability. I'm a team player, always willing to lend a hand to anyone who requires help. I understand if accepted into Athen Paladins, that I'm an image of the organization...and will never do anything to tarnish the reputation of the org.

That said, thank you for your time and look forward to the next steps in the application process :)

Hello Viex :) It's good to see someone coming back for the old tims. 2005 was epic in AO. We have several old-timers like you who have found a new home and family with us and we help them to "ctach up" with all the chznges.

You can have a look here (lot of reading but lot of information); this should help you already:
" IF YOU ARE COMING BACK TO AO AND WANT THE LAST NEWS... "

Ustarlen said everything you need to know at this point, so see you online soon! :)

Greetings and thank you for the warm welcome back :)

You are right Chris...2005 was epic in AO, I miss those days. Over the years I have kept my eye on the state of AO and was very disheartened at the poor management of the game. I can only hope that new life will come back to AO, some way, somehow.

That said, on my initial post...I had stated that I was playing an Enforcer, safe to say...I re-rolled my character to an Adventurer. The Enforcer profession was too easy, and not very exciting. Plus...being new, with no money to afford a yalm, I found that "Sparrow Flight" nano, you can literally fly like a yalm, unlike back in the day where you were only a few feet from the ground, plus, the nano levels up with you! :)
