Application - Elron and Monoamine

Hello my name is Elron (and my 2nd account alt Monoamine) and I would like to join Athen Paladins. I have been playing AO since 2004ish with a LOT of breaks in between.

Reason why you want to join AP: I want to be part in a large active org. Ive watched you guys for years when I would play. Well I resubbed both accounts and I want to be a part of the Athens Paladins.

My time zone is US Eastern Standard I am usually online crazy hours, and alot of them as I work swinging shifts in real life for the state of WV doing maintainence at interstate rest stops. IF Im not at work im likely in game.

I fully agree to your COC (listed here viewtopic.php?f=8&t=69)

names, professions, and levels of all my characters:
Elron 155 MA
Monoamine 150 doc
4 froob accounts with ALOT of 10-90 level froobies as well.

Im a mature married 42 year old father of 4. Your gonna love me!!

Hello Elron, welcome on our forums, and welcome back in AO as you are back from another break. :)

First little thing, for privacy reasons, I obfuscated your real name: it's not a problem to disclose it inside AP but this part of our forums is public and we are visited and indexed by all search engines, and you'd certainly not want an Omni to stalk you IRL :P , or just not make your info more public than you'd want. :)

So, it's good again to see an old-timer coming back and thinking that AP could be his new home on RK. I say that a lot this year, as we have many returning players joining us, and I'm still very happy to say it and witness more returns. :)

We are a good place to develop characters and (re-)learn the game. Plus, if you are the father of four, you certainly know a lot already about stress management or self-control and chances are you're a good person to deal with!

So, now, your next step will be to join our guest channel on our org bot so we can meet you online. Any AP member can invite you to the guest channel of our org bot. It does not have to be an officer.

You can usually find AP members at the big Vanguards building ramp near OA grid terminal.
If you can’t find a member you can self invite by typing /tell Bobsan !join
This is a temporary invite, so you'll have to do it each time you want to be on guest chat.

Once on guest chat, feel free to ask for an officer and introduce yourself and explain that you posted an application.

At some point soon, after you've spent some time with us, an officer will contact you for a brief interview. As our officers can be busy with raids and other duties, it may take a moment to contact you. Always feel free to tell an officer that you are there.
