On Torrent too now. Looks better than the patcher after a few minutes, so i dropped the patcher. 43Kb/s at the moment, and the time left is decreasing at last!

Damn... down to 22 now. 2:21 hours left... going to get some rest I guess and I'll see.

If you have a client that lets you micromanage your torrent, you can turn it into a game.

For instance, I use Shareaza. When the transfer starts getting a little slower, I "find more sources". If it starts getting REALLY cluttered I "forget" all choked sources with 0B available (and then "find more sources" again).

If I don't do the above, my xfer stays around 30K/s.

If I keep micromanaging like that, I can keep it between 60 and 160K/s.

Yes, boring, but effective.

Hey, its a damned site better than the REST of my day, where I spent 5-6 hours finding a way to create a working XP recovery console. And then another hour getting Visa to quit deciding all my online purchases (for a real defrag program) were fraud.

Nerf OSes that give you 3 ways to load a recovery console, but no way to load mass storage drivers from a CD instead of a floppy. Finally got it working. And nerf that I did all of that just to uninstall my Vista RC1 boot loader.

Started the patcher when i got up and i got 25kb/s which i expect to drop to 5-10.

Tip... Get a download manager, use the link hyde provided (http://ftp.funcom.com/cd/patches/AOPatc ... .0_EP1.exe) and set the amount of tasks at around 4 or 6 or so. Quadruple speed
