While MOST Ofab armors are just slightly improved Faithful/Chosen armors, the following was points out on the AO forums:
Penultimate Ofab Shade Body Armor ... +55 Complit (YES! completely new)
Penultimate Ofab Shade Gloves ... +75 piercing (instead of +60)
And QL300 Penultimate has easier stats than Faithful gear, 1045/855 AGI/SEN instead of 1100/900.

great, now the last advantages of rolling soli instead of trox are gone. thanks FC, the reasons why i rolled soli are no reasons anymore. 1 1/2 years of hard work on a char and i end up being way below the abilities (and AR) of a trox on a profession that is agi/sense based....

i can live without MR..i even chose soli for better CL, evades, piercing and abilities (not for equipping, but for trickledown) but therefor no MR. but what FC does is just another brick in the wall. they improve exactly the things that trox shades lack but dont invent something else the other breeds could favour from...

FWIW, pre-LE a trox shade could equip Beast gear. Only item we couldn't equip was the neck piece. And we can't even with this chest. And I'm doubtful you can either (+200 from the Cyborg neck is verrrrry hard to overcome).

And even with this +55, I'll still need every +CL item that I can get and some perk resetting. It just reduces how many perks I have to reset and makes it so that I don't need to camp the Pande +CL items that have a Matter Creation requirement (meaning I can not max a nano line purely for equipping gear, since we have no MC nanos).
So this wasn't just trox love. It was all shades love. Makes every shade have an easier time with gear that a trox could have equipped anyway.
