I just heard this on the Dutch radio (Radio538, www.radio538.nl), under the weird news space... The fireguards or however you call this in English had to rescue a sheep from a tree. The sheep had climbed seven meters high... And damaged the tree

Met enige regelmaat rukt de brandweer uit om katten uit de boom te redden. Maar in het Zweedse plaatsje Lund moest er iets heel anders uit een boom worden gered: een schaap. Het beest zat op zeven meter hoogte bekneld tussen de takken. Toen de brandweer arriveerde om het schaap uit zijn positie te bevrijden, zag het korps dat een deel van de boom afgebroken op de grond lag. Op zoek naar verse bladeren was het beest aan zijn klim begonnen, tot het arme dier zeven meter hoog was en in de wirwar van takken verstrikt raakte."

Quite frequently the fireguards move out to save cats out of the trees. But in the Swedish place Lund something totally different had to be saved: a sheep.
