This is how to claim one of the nodes of a space station.
Come to the console (the screen in front of me) and activate it.
You are stunned for a few seconds.... you must be protected
After a few seconds, you can click again and the node is yours.
Top of the screen you can see the battlestation icon:
- One node is Omni (blue) and Omnis are therefore starting to get points (7)
- Three nodes are not yet claimed (white): mine (lower one) will turn red (Clan) in a few seconds
- On the icon, you are shown as a little yellow do so you know where you are (there is no mini map at the moment)
Note: on my shortcut bar, the first icons are the special attacks used by Mechs (Burst, Full auto, Fling shot). Those are based on the characteristics of the Mech. For example, on a scout mech, I was able to deal 5 to 8k damage with full auto on an assault mech... which has something like 150 000 HP
