Ok so no-one has made a G15 mod yet..

So i have. Its coded in python which i only started learning today so please bear with me.

Ill realease the source at somepoint but atm its so messy and hacked together i dont think its worth releasing, this is more a proof of concept than a fully functional mod.

It makes constant access to the DD log and seems to use a large cpu chunk.

Its an exe plus other files than need to be placed in the same folder as aoparsers output, please see the copy of the file that ive packaged with the exe. As long as your outputing the name and dpm i dont think the extra details matter.

The program si fairly unforgiving and hasnt got any error checking so morethan likely will die :P
Thoguths ideas?

hmm seems i cant attack a file here so send me an email or pm and ill email you a copy. I also ask that if i send you the file it doesnt go any further as ive ripped some of the code out of samples and examples etc.

It's a keyboard... A fuber one... It can chain actions with a single button press (AKA: fire off a whole perkalpha with one hit on the button  ). Look it up: Logitech G15.

Its very good gaming keyboard. It also glows!!!! :P (Oh and has an inbuilt LCD which is what the program uses)

As for ruby?!!? not sure what it is but so far python is the only language ive found a g15 development library for that doesnt need expensive software.

I am so getting this keyboard lol. I could set up different macro sequences for different types of duals <3

Sure beats my sequential piano style perk layout i use now.. thanks for the link.

I wonder if this keyboard is a breach of EULA.. not that it would stop me from getting one :)

Ramp its been asked on the forums before and ok'd by the fc staff. As long as the macro's are to be run in your presense your ok. Its just if you used it to automate your toon somehow that they might get annoyed.

Its a great Keyboard and the macro's work fairly well altho laggy areas can mess them up a bit.

The only problem ive had is the ctrl and shift keys on the left as i always seem to miss them. Atho i put this down to bad typing skills :P

Also during you rfirst week of use you will find you hit the macro buttons alot instead of Esc and Tab for some wierd reason.

Yep, and MagicDump is a FAR better tool for automating / bot'ing your toon as it lets you set up conditionals and timers based on text output from the logs.
