Level 80 fixer with SPB

Going to try to get a SPB on my level 80 fixer, not sure how people did it before LE. :p

Going to post equipment and further plans tomorrow (and yes, I'm doing this on a leveling character, and no, leveling up BEFORE i get my SPB on is not an option, until I give up :p), will toss on some of the more easy stuff then (QL200 agi imps and right hand).

The way I'm calcing it right now I should end up with JUST enough burst to keep it out of OE, and I should have plenty of SMG, as I said, I'll post all that tomorrow. :p

DAY 2:

Ok, here's my current setup.

Perks are:

2 in Acrobat
2 in SMG mastery
2 in Combat Knowledge
2 in Enhance DNA
2 in First Aid

Giving me:

55 to all evades
18 to agility
8 to all other stats
20 to SMG
2 burst
36 to treatment

I've done all level 1 research, giving me:

10 SMG
10 Trap Disarm
5 Sense
5 Stamina
5 Intelligence

Now, the plan forward is to get in QL200 agility implants (Waist, legs and feet), they're QL155-ish currently. Then to get enough VP's and types for a QL100 penultimate OFAB fixer chest (26 burst), and enough AI levels to put a few perks into CoLA (Champion of Light Artillery).

I need 800 SMG and 600 burst to keep it out of OE, I currently have 641 SMG and 436 burst when completely unbuffed.

The buffs I will be able to cast are comp attribute (+4), comp ranged (+20 to burst and SMG), and major surpressor (+79 to SMG, +50 to burst), that will bring me up to 744 SMG, with a few points in trickledown, and some 7 AI levels, that will allow me to get 800 SMG relatively easy.

I will currently end up with 510 burst when fully buffed, that's 90 burst short. I can get 42 from a QL200 right hand, 26 from the OFAB chest, and a few points in trickle from QL200 agi implants, bringing me up to around 580, I can get 10 points in burst from a level 2 research, and 2 from resetting back into SMG mastery, bringing me up to 592, 8 short.

I'll have more details, along with the implant setup I can manage to get, later today.

AI armor :P But I don't think they put on a SPB, rather a Blinded BlackBird (better in pvp).

Even with AI armor, unless you're a trox, it's going to be either seriously hard, or gimp you a LOT in other areas.

So anyway, the most time-consuming part of my whole setup is going to be getting 1-2k VP's I need for chest and (maybe) ring. Atleast I think that will be the hardest, and even if I get that, I'll still be a lot of points short in burst to get it on.

My "plan of action":

1. Get a few alien levels
2. Get into QL200 waist, right hand, legs and feet implants
3. Redo calcs to figure out how much burst and SMG I need to keep the gun out of OE (self-buffed)
3. Get enough VP's for QL100 fixer chest (26 burst! woo!)
4. Perk resets until my face turns blue
5. (after I get what I need to keep it out of OE selfed) Figure out what I need to get it on
6. Probably borrow some AI armor or something :p
7. Get it on
8. Steel ur keels

If I were you I'd have Burst triple-implanted (at first) and then when you have the SPB on unequip the 'plants where Burst/SMG conflict and get the SMG imps in :)

There's only one slot where burst and SMG conflict, and that's right arm.

Unfortunately it's right arm, which is shining SMG/Burst, and if I put burst in there, I'm suddenly 100 SMG short, rather than around 10 burst.

I may have to do that eventually, if I can't figure out how to get the burst to equip it, but end up with a lot of SMG (the SMG is easy to get, while burst is much harder, but 100 SMG for 10-ish burst? I'm not sure).

In addition, to get the SMG up there, I would probably need to farm even MORE VP's, which is a huge pain. :p

I do plan on looking into it, if I run into big problems with burst.

Right now I just need to get these implants in so I can get a good long look at my numbers.

Woo! Got all the QL200 implants in (except eye and brain)!

Going to be stuck in perk reset for a bit, time to start figuring out how to get on the gun!

With only the composite attribute buff running I have 658 SMG and 484 burst, wearing treatment suit and no gun at all.

I need 800 SMG and 600 burst to keep the gun out of OE, in other words, I need 142 SMG and 116 burst.

Now, here's the perks I can get, and what they'll give me (in terms of burst and SMG), not counting ability perks:

AI:
Champion of Light Artillery 1-6: 37 SMG
Dark Kin 1-5: 14 burst

SL:
SMG Mastery 2-4: 25 SMG and 2 burst

Now, buffs:
Major Surpressor: 79 SMG and 50 burst
Expertise: +20 each

Armor:
Penultimate Ofab Fixer Chest QL100: 26 burst
Fixer ring QL75: 7 burst
Syndicate shades: 12 SMG, 12 burst (can't get this on without MAJOR work, aka replacing a bunch of implants and possibly making it very hard for myself :p)
Penultimate ofab fixer sleeves QL100*2: 26 SMG
Caliginous Ring of the Artillery Unit: 2 SMG and burst

Research:
Acquisition 2-3: 10 burst, 20 SMG

Now, if I get all of the things I can get on without TOO much hassle (tons of VP or redoing my implants), I'll end up with this:

SMG
SMG base: 658
CoLA: 37
SMG mastery: 25
Major Surpressor: 79
Ring of artillery unit: 2
Research: 20
Expertise: 20
Result: 841

Burst:
Burst base: 484
SMG mastery: 2
Major Surpressor: 50
Research: 10
Ofab chest: 26
Expertise: 20
Ring of artillery unit: 2
Result: 594

Now, what I can do is choose dark kin over CoLA, which then gives me these numbers:

SMG: 804
Burst: 608

Which is enough to keep it out of OE. (Forgot expertise before, was wondering why it didn't add up. :p

Now comes the hard part, getting it on.

Using the numbers from before as a base (804 and 608), I need 197 SMG and 143 burst.

Wrangle: 131 SMG
RC: 110 burst
Hotswap

That brings me down to 66 SMG and 33 burst.

TRICKLE:
Burst: 50% agi, 30% str, 20% sta
SMG: 30% str, 30% agi, 30% sta, 10% sense

Behe: +27 STR, +27 STA
IC:+ 20 STR, +20 STA
2x Enhance DNA: +8 STR, +8 STA, +8 AGI, +8 SEN
Extruder bar: +2STR, +2 STA, +2 AGI, +2 SEN
FG: +25 AGI
ES: +15 SEN

Total stats added:
STR: 57
STA: 57
AGI: 35
SEN: 25

Total trickle:
SMG: (57*0.3 + 57*0.3 + 35*0.3 + 25*0.1)/4 = 11.8
Burst: (35*0.5+57*0.5)/4 = 11.5

That brings me down to about 55 SMG and 22 burst.

Now, I can use a hotswap burst or SMG for 20-30 free points in either skill, SMG would be the clear choice in this instance, since that's what I'm lacking the most, bringing me down to around 25-35 points short in SMG and 22 points short in burst, using 2-3 pieces of QL125-ish supple would cover that gap.

If anybody has any ideas that could help me remove the requirement of borrowing supple, or make my job ahead any easier, I'd REALLY love to hear about it. :D

Alright!

Got my QL100 Penultimate Ofab Fixer Body Armor on now.

Current stats are:

SMG: 802
Burst: 601

I'll be putting one more perk into Enhance DNA, which should bring me to 803/602.

I can also get 2 more alien perks, bringing me up to 803/609, 815/601 or 809/605.

Using my base values of 803/602 selfbuffed, I can get these buffs, as mentioned earlier:

Wrangle: 132 SMG
Riot Control: 110 burst

Bringing my total to 935/712.

That means I'm 66 short in SMG, and 39 short in burst.
I've still got some research to do, that gives me 20 SMG, bringing me down to 46 SMG and 39 burst.

And then comes the fun part... extra equipment. :(

Syndicate shades: No way I'm going to get these on
Heavy ranged weapons guide: 2 SMG
Special ranged weapons guide: 2 Burst
Trench soldier's straps: 4 SMG
+
Trickle: 11 Burst, 11 SMG

Those give a total bonus of 17 SMG and 13 burst, bringing me to 29 SMG short, and 26 burst.

Now I can add in the perks, if I can get on a bigburger (357 FA), I can put my perks into CoLA, bringing me to -4 burst, and 16 SMG.
If I could replace a few of those armor pieces with supple armor (up to QL129), I could get it on fairly easily, the problem is a complete lack of armor that buffs what I need. I could also get 2xOFAB sleeves QL75, along with the bigburger, and that would bring me to... -4 burst and -6 SMG!

Of course, this is all me dreaming, since there's no way for me to get 357 FA without selling my soul, or resetting a skill, both of which are unattractive.

So, I have 6 armor slots that don't buff anything right now, QL75 supple gives 8 SMG and 8 burst, QL129 gives 13 of both.

I need 23 of each, so that's... 3 pieces of QL75, or 2 pieces of QL129.

Does anyone have any low-QL supple I can borrow?

Try to bug Mud, Derkiet, or Jimbob for those QL75 Supple/CSS pieces :)

Here's my current setup, I haven't included the armor I'm wearing, since that will need to be replaced by a few pieces of alien armor when I get the gun on. And yeah, I know I should get a higher eye, and some proper armor, and and and.. my only real goal right now is to get on the SPB. After I get that on, I can start un-gimping myself. :p

I got your pm but unfurtunately all my supple is twinked onto my 75 adv atm, but ill see what i can do.

Can't make the FA req on the chapman and the symb will leave me desperately short on SMG, as I previously mentioned, I'm now 24 burst short when fully buffed up, including trickle (haven't tested, just using the calcs), which is JUST enough to get it on with 3xQL75 supple pieces. So unless something great comes up that will solve all my problems, that's the plan for now, I can borrow those 3 pieces I need from Jimbob, so I'm camping orgchat, waiting for him to spawn. :p

Used 3x QL75 supple armor, and 2 pieces of kirch kevlar, other than that, everthing else was the same.

Currently 1 burst short of 100%, next perk reset in 1h20min :p
