relocating

Post by Kyttn »

I have just sold my home so I have 3 weeks to move everything out. Combined with trying to finalise my business accounts for the tax man means I will have very limited online time available for the immediate future. I will try to check on the forums each day and logon when I can.

Stay safe all. Chris, rest your eyes as much as possible.

Hope you made a good deal for the old home. :) Good luck with relocating... and with the tax people (mez them!).

We'll be there for you when you're done and I hope you'll be able to keep in touch with us on the forums as you said. :D

Australia is a spread out country, Alpha. Unlike Europe where people moan moving 60km away, saying how far away from home it is. :P

Good luck with it Kyttn.

Yes yes, but that doesn't change anything about the frequency of the moving operations :P

60km is quite far away yeh, can't even get there on cycle anymore in less than one hour :( (Cycle = win).

I think I have just jumped out of the frying pan into the fire :?

As you heard we sold our house and settlement is on Monday. We finished clearing out the house 3 days ago and are still working on the garage. (too much junk? :embarassed: )

So ... tonight we just put in a bid on a house and it was accepted. Settlement on the new place is 13 November. Now I just need another 20 years to pay for it!

The good news is that we should be able to move into the new place before the December-January business boom. Warrnambool has a great reputation for its surf beaches and holiday weather so the city population doubles for 2 months and we get rushed off our feet.

0.o good to know everything is getting sorted though.

IMO just have a bonfire & burn stuff thats not to harmfull to the environment maybe if its like London u could just put a sign outside saying FREE STUFF!!! & hope someone wants your junk.

Sounds like the bussiness is going strong so good luck for the festive season & getting comfortable in the new place..

gratz Kyttn, I hate moving, but I do find that every time I move I get ride of a lot of stuff/junk and then when I move into the new home say, "I'll never collect all that junk again." Then 2 years later time to move and still MOrE junk! I feel your pain. I just had a Garage sale last weekend and made some good money, maybe you can do the same.

Warrnambool. This place sucks... no pollution, no traffic jams, no acid rains,... and there is a botanic garden... it's boring out there! :jk:
