We've discovered a serious bug with characters in the new patch, which is why we brought the servers down so suddenly. We are still tracking it down and getting it fixed at the moment, so we don't have an ETA, but that is the reason for the emergency downtime. We'll provide you more information as soon as we can.

They are expecting another 4hrs of added downtime.

Just to provide a bit more information, this evening, as the 17.6 patch went live, we discovered a very serious bug that could affect player characters. We take the integrity of your characters extremely seriously, which is why we brought the servers down as fast as we did (and sorry about the lack of notice on that!).

The AO team is working on an emergency patch to fix the problem. We're estimating 4 hours of downtime from now and will keep you informed of any further developments.

my patch went wrong! it keep saysing "no update server available please contact funcom support"
DL speed is sooo slow. 10 for 1mb ( not my internet)

i ask in game and rulzi gave me ftp site address. I downlaod patch from there at 200kbs , 5mins.

after patch all graphics are messed up.

i try download patch again

Mytefe, servers are overcrowded. Everyone is downloading and a lot of people are trying to buy points. The account page is impossible to display atm.
