everytime i go to download i time out cause it takes so long. I am trying to get the client on disc so all i have to do is patchin and that might prove tiresome there but i am doin my best.

I do cause my internet connection is better but not as constant as my previous loaction.

JRsDad05 maybe you could try to contact AO Technical Support and ask them if they have a solution, like downloading small pieces of the software one by one?

I have some ideas about that but I'm not sure they would work as the downloader and installer have changed a bit. So better ask them.

The game client is also on disc so I have on being set to me, then i'll see if i can patch in or not. It is just gettin under my skin that i can't play. lol i will survive.

If you have the game client on disk, then it should be easier.

Install the game with the disc. Do not launch the patcher.

Look at what version you have when you launch the game (in the title bar of the launcher).

Do NOT press the "patch" button, close the launcher.

Download all the required patches one by one (all the ones above your version number) from FC's site and apply them one by one :

It's long but it should work, as each file is not too big.
