AP forum weirdness, WLAN, and Vista.

Heyas,
I've got something weird when browsing the AP forums. Almost every time I go there on my Windows Vista x64 installation, using my Linksys accesspoint (WPA-personal 1), my Firefox starts using up 90% or more of the CPU power and hogging up 180-300 MB of RAM. And is then extremely slow.
The AP forums are the ONLY place on the whole internet I have this problem.
Using the same computer, WLAN card, and browser, I do not have this problem when:
- Connecting via my neighbours' unencrypted WLAN accesspoint, using the same OS.
- Connecting via my Linksys accesspoint, using Ubuntu Intrepid Desktop x64.
- Connecting via my neighbours' unencrypted WLAN accesspoint, using Ubuntu Intrepid Desktop x64.
I have the latest version of Firefox, and my WLAN drivers, and my OSes are both totally up to date. I also have the latest version of Avast! professional, with a legal serial, and totally up-to-date virus definitions. So there's no virus on my PC. My PC was freshly installed from scratch (bought a new harddrive) around one month ago.
I'm puzzled. Why does it do this only on Vista, using one specific WLAN accesspoint, on one specific website? Internet is internet right? And for every other website it works np whatever combination I use...
Any clues what's going on?
