Well as some of you know I'm back online with my paid account. I'm thinking of doing the Jobe armor quest. Currently I have Liptijour armour on and truth to tell I dunno which is better...But would easily be able to get the basic set. What do you guys think?

also need to finally complete the ado brain quest...close to finishing that... (I think I'm at this point but not sure: Mission: Scan Hecklers)

any advice would be appreciated...
Thanks to you all and its good to be back playing paid... =D>

Yell when you're online and we'll help with Adonis brain quest. You have several steps in front of you that can't be soloed at your level.

As for armor, it's admirable to be willing to work for Tier armor, but, honestly, there is not many reasons to get it today, except one piece from time to time for some professions. I'm not sure really for fixers.

I suppose you are wearing Ljotur's armor because you have a Grid armor, and Ljotur is one of the very rare things you can equip with a GA on?

In this case, what you must get, to somehow "replace" GA, is the SL back armor, called Shadowweb Spinner
http://auno.org/ao/db.php?cmd=search&ty ... =shadowweb

It's a nano directly buyable in SL gardens.

Then you'll be able to equip other armors.

Miy armor could be a good choice for a leveling character (drops from RK bosses, not very rare), we could have some pieces.
http://auno.org/ao/db.php?cmd=search&type=2&name=Miy

Also you can use (or more likely combine with Miy) Reactive armor from Belial Forest Biodome keys bosses and then Jathos armor (from Biodome itself) which can be easily upgraded later with items from Dust brigade dungeon 2 (we always have some in org bank). For both you need help but we Biodome and Biodome key farming relatively often.

Reactive
http://auno.org/ao/db.php?cmd=search&ty ... e=reactive

Jathos and Enhanced Jathos
http://auno.org/ao/db.php?cmd=search&type=2&name=Jathos

And, of course, Ofab armor when you can get enough Victory points (or someone can buy for you but needs to have points and be the same profession as you). No real point in going for Ofab when you are leveling, as it takes time to get points so better not waste them before you have reached a level you want to stay at.

There are other options, though, and our fixers or our twink specialists will probably answer too.

Armor wise i did good with

Conscientious Knight's Helmet http://auno.org/ao/db.php?id=225541
can be quite tough to get the str/stam but the AC´s (which fix really is lacking) and the evades are very nice. until that a predator circlet will do.

OFAB has some nice pieces to offer and with new pvp dailies the needed VP are quickly aquired.

perosnally i like the body and the sleeves.
Sleeves http://auno.org/ao/db.php?id=264480&ql=200 have nice def, bit hp, smg and ranged init buffs, and ofc bio met which is needed for HOT´s.

Body http://auno.org/ao/db.php?id=264486&ql=200 helps alot buffing burst and full auto. also some extra hp and good AC´s.

for legs my favorites are dragon pants http://auno.org/ao/db.php?id=158793

gloves try to get your hands on some dmg adding Electrophoridae Gloves http://auno.org/ao/db.php?id=252988&ql=200 very nice when u have energy dmg. They drop from city alien generals.

boots stay hotswappable. at some point u want inf boots, maybe goddess boots, or cheap apocalypse boots, even boots of the dancing king are hawt :p
http://auno.org/ao/db.php?id=282113
http://auno.org/ao/db.php?id=206657&ql=200
http://auno.org/ao/db.php?id=245967

feel free to ask me anything u want when u catch me online

p.s. the tier armor is horrible, not worth the cash and time

oy...oy...OY!! APEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Hiya dudes and dudettes...Im back in da saddle...(like who gives a good flying wazoooo?) #-o

anyway...just thought Id update y'all on my latest boondoggle in game...basically I decided since I'm lvl locked I will go for getting my tokens up. Why you ask? good question...cause I can and its easier than figuring out all the other complicated stuff in game (Im taking the lazy way out!)
but seriously, I figure that since my xp is going into research ATM that will continue to lvl (unless Im mistaken) and I will get more tokens which will benefit me in the long run. Also Im finding stuff I think my lowbie trader can use so I'm puking that stuff up to him...and selling the rest. Occasionally I run over to subway and buff some folks too...for the heck of it.
I saw booooooooomah in game last night and he was asking about finishing my ADO brain quest but was late for this stinky old guy and had to hit the hay...hey...hai...HI?...who sed that?...sheesh but I digresss...
Anyway...been having fun especially since one of my daily mishes puked up a blisteringly cool red cloak which matches my propeller hat. Hey, you CANT get any better than that...I just wish I had a red nose then the Fistydaclown persona would be complete

anyway...thats what I have been up to...besides my usual chatter and babbling and verbal diarrhea on org chat...
Bottom line to all of this is that I look good, I look red...and lvl 220 toon chicks seem to dig me now. Damn, its GREAT being a legend in your own mind!

how cool is that?

Ok I was back in game last night Finally...and continued with my Bronco Burger quest...and was dusting every mob no prob...and then I got to the borgs...lolol. Actually I was able to solo em ok except for the fact there was so feakin' many of the social buggers and since the Bronco Burger quest is linear...it was getting pretty hard to kill what I needed...wel Bredin and Jimbob showed up looking like freakin' tanked out 90 mile an hour superheroes...and they began runnin' around all fancy crazy whackin' and blastin' on borgs just as if the borgs were last week's post toasties being mashed to mealy worm powder by a fruit loop hammer of the gods! (what the heck did I just say? dunno but it sounded good!)

aaaaaaaaaand then...REAL LIFE kicked in and I had to go to bed...sooooooooo maybe tonite I can finish the buggers off...Im parked in a crevice so they dont aggro me as soon as I log on

TYTY to bredin and Jimbob for the fun and help.

I actually have some plans tonight or i would love to come back to help, it was fun. I'm sure there will be some other people that will come help. You will at least need help on the last mob in the quest, the cyborg boss guy.

I'd love to help our on this too fisty, if you're still on when I get home from work I love making worm powder!

I'll give you a hint to soloing though: http://auno.org/ao/db.php?id=85216 (Spin Nanoweb)

note the low chance to break on HIT: Chance of break on attack 10

That means, there is a 10% chance to break each tiem you hit the mob. not only does this work incredibly well for one mob, BUT it snares a whole big area, so, all those mobs are pretty much stationary. Most some distance away and pew-pew them.

When the mob you're fighting snare breaks, you can then use different snares/roots (if you want to maintain distance), or often enough by the time it breaks, he'll be so close to dead just a burst/one more perk/hit will kill him. ** other snares/roots cost less nano, so they are better to use once you've area snared a whack of targets. For example, you could use http://auno.org/ao/db.php?id=82502 (Gravity Bindings (322 nano cost) for single targets.

One of the strongest aspects to fixers' toolsets are their wide are snares, and very nasty long length snares/ roots with LOW chance to break. In PVP, these can be used to hinder movement of several people in a group at once, and, enable the opposing side to quickly eliminate all profs who require FIGHT OR FLIGHT survival tactics (especially doc and agent). Very useful. While youre learning about Solo VMing you're also getting some basic introduction to PVP tactics for your profession. WooT!

BTW!!!!! use your snares in CONJUNCTION WITH THIS ITEM: http://auno.org/ao/db.php?id=88374
Yatamutchy movement predictor. (for help on how to get this on without using IP in weap smithing/perception, talk to me in game)
