ATHEN PALADINS FORUMS (in remaking)

Its been a peeve of mine since i started playing this game. The text above characters and NPC's is a illegible mess and cant be read until within 10ft or closer half the time. Are my graphic settings wrong? Anything i can do to improve clarity? Or is this just something i need to get use to again?
