Hey gang! My name is Ving and I'm what some of you might consider a "newer" player, being that I made my first character, Ving401, in late 2016. I've pretty much been hooked since then, taking a few breaks in between but never really "leaving," AO just does that to people I guess . I was a member of Infinity for a long time, but being quite honest, never really made the connections I had hoped. Upon returning the first time, I joined Leet and their community, becoming friends with the President and several officers, and even becoming an officer myself! I owe some of my fondest memories of Anarchy Online to this org <3. Unfortunately, I'm the only one online anymore, and don't see that changing any time soon.

Now, I come to apply to Athen Paladins in the hope of meeting new people, building relationships, and getting to know the culture of a community that has lasted such a long time . I've only just resubbed so there are some things I need to refresh myself on as far as raids and the like, but I'm ready to contribute!

My time zone: US EST or -4 GMT. I am usually online later in the evening due to RL and my job (more active earlier in the day on weekends), so I won't be able to attend *every* raid, but I will do my best to attend them when I can and be helpful!

I have read and fully agree to the Code of Conduct and Org Chat Recommendations.

The next step is to join our guest channel on our org bot so we can meet/team online. Any AP member can invite you to guest chat. It does not have to be an officer.
You can usually find AP members at the big Vanguards building ramp near OA grid terminal.
If you can’t find a member you can self invite by typing /tell Bobsan !join
This is a temporary invite, so you'll have to do it each time you want to be on guest chat.

Once on guest chat, feel free to ask for an officer and introduce yourself, and also ask for help with any questions you may have about your application.

At some point soon, after you've spent some time with us, an officer will contact you for a brief interview. As our officers can be busy with raids and other duties, it may take a moment to contact you. Always feel free to tell an officer that you are there.
