New computer

Heyas guys. As some of you know I recently got a new computer and was happy and all.
But I had to send it in to be repaired/fixed, cause it went black screen many times for no reason at all. I first thought maybe it was some power saving stuff, but that was not the issue. I then looked at nvidias forum and found a thread where many people had the same or similar problem. I decided to send it in for the store to fix it, since paid a lot of money for it. (I usually put together my own computer). But since I have ripped the old stationary apart and only have laptop to play on I will not online much, unless I start to get comfortable playing on laptop.
I hope that I get my computer back within 2 weeks, so I can come back to AP and have fun.

I don't know exactly what issues you got but regarding power, amperage, and graphic cards, we have 3 threads that deal with Nvidia and power supplies (would be roughly the same with AATI):

YAY, sweetness.
I finally got my computer back. They said they couldn´t find an hardware error, so basicly they believed it to be a software error!! It´s just strange, cause the only programs I installed were Bullguard (antivirus/firewall), Office 2007 and AO! And then I upgraded the firmware on dvd drive! They reinstalled OS and wasn´t able to get the error again!
I have now upgraded to Windows 7 and all seems to work very well.
So I´ll be back ingame for more grinding very soon.
