Can you post the reply from FC?

It is possible to get items back within 3 days of their disappearance (because they are still in the logs of the servers.)

- Did those items disappear while you were online with you character or with your account or while you were not playing? If they disappear while you are not online your account may be hacked. (Still strange as the Sheol ring is nodrop.)

- Have you installed any third-party program like an AO utility or something? If so, it could be a hack program.

What to do:

- Post the reply from FC here

- Remove third-party program and game additions; we'll see later how to download safe ones

- Change your password for your account

- Make a list of what you have lost so we can send it to FC

- Act fast, you only have 3 days from the moment items disappeared (although for some, there is sometime another way to see you had them)

Jeez enfo I hope you can find those items.

Here are a couple tips, because I too have had things "disappear"

1. Zone. That means if youre in a shop or something, just close your backpacks, and walk out.
(this will solve 99.9% of lost items by the way)

2. This one is more tricky. When you open a backpack, make 100% sure that ALL slots are visible. I "lost" a piece of nodrop armour this way, once, and a friendly GM told me: your item is in your bank, in XYZ backpack. I felt dumb, but I realized I had only been looking at 6 lines of the backpack instead of 7 for that one.

3. Sometimes, weirdly your inventory STRETCHES. I normally have mine in a 5x6 configuration. But, occasionally I'll log in or have zoned, and it'll have STRECHED into a 6x6 configuration.

Now, this poses some problems, mainly because the extra slots are visible, but they aren't really there. That means you can try to put somethign in that slot, but, it won't stay there. Anyway, in my inventory, I put my backpacks at the bottom, and I use that as a reference. Occasionally, when the inventory stretches, it takes me a couple days to figure it out, (there must be at least one item in the bottom row for it to stay open) and to find which items are "lost" in that bottom row.

Those are my tips.

Cheers and good luck.
