I am an old-hat at AO, having played for slightly less than a year leading up to Shadowlands, but quit upon SLs release.
I've since tried to return once or twice but I've notbeen able to fully enjoy the game as I once did because for me, playing MMOs is about enjoying the company of others.
I thoroughly enjoy team missions (who doesn't love boss lootz?) and generally getting into trouble.
I'm located in US EST (GMT-5) and primarily on in the evenings during the week (8 to 11 pm EST) and online too much on the weekends (anybody for saturday/sunday morning newbies?)
I look forward to spending more time around you fine folks and hope to find a good fit.

I'll just let you know you've made good headway on your application and there are just a few hurdles left.
1. Register on forums (check)
2. Read/accept Code of conduct (check)
3. Read/accept language rules (check)
4. get acquainted with AP's and interview - to expedite this, first holler for an AP on Clan OOC, and ask for a bot invite. Once you're in org chat, listen to what people are talking about, and if you identify an opportunity to team/get together, try to do so. try typing !online and look down the list of people, if you see an "admin" you can ask them politely if they have time for an interview (maybe they do, maybe not
)
5. Meet Chris and join the org!
That's it. As you can see you've made good headway, and joining the bot is the next thing you should do. Once you've joined once you can try to rejoin with: /tell bobsan !invite
If that doesn't work, ask again in Clan OOC, or, you can try sending tells directly to org officers.
Here's a quick list of people that might be on in your timezone:

Those are your best bet, just send them a tell and let them know you're trying to join the bot and you're a new applicant.

So, as you already read and agree on our Code of Conduct and rules, we just need to meet you and have a small interview with you.
We'll try to catch you online, of course but also join our guest channel in-game:
to do this, in the game, you can contact any AP member or officer, and tell him/her you posted and application and ask for a guest channel invite. You'll find usually APs at the Vanguards big building ramp near Old Athen grid.
