Welcome to our forums; it's great to see more people wanting to play AO.
You don't need any buddy key to play AO. (And there is no buddy keys available at the moment for AO, as far as we know)
Go there, on AO official site, http://www.anarchy-online.com/wsp/anarc ... ,1070,1088 and then
Enter a email address
Choose a name for your account (you will name your characters when you create them)
Choose a password
Click on the link to download the AO client to download it
Then you can play.
AO is free to play. If you like the game; you can later buy expansions as you wish.
