Hello my name is Leo and I would like to join Athen Paladins. I have been playing AO since 2009 with a few breaks in between. I've been out of the game since June of 2015 due to being forward deployed in the middle east.

Reason behind joining AP is I'd like to start playing again with friendly people and a good gaming atmosphere. Looking to start a new adventure with a solid organization with the players within AP.

I fully agree to your CoC.

I would be playing in US Pacific Standard Time.

I've noticed that you're still recruiting and would like to know when you guys stop recruiting. I would'nt want to miss out on joining an Org while I'm currently deployed for when i come back at the end of this year. I would personally like to add an officer to chat with to talk about this application via exchanging emails possibly. If not possible maybe private messages within the AP website will do.

I've played multiple MMO's and plenty of console games but I always find myself coming back to AO.

The next step would be to join our bot as a guest to meet/team online. Any AP member can invite you to guest chat. It does not have to be an officer.
You can usually find AP members hanging out at the Vanguards ramp next to the OA grid. If you can’t find a member you can self invite by typing /tell Bobsan !invite This is a temporary invite, so please introduce yourself and ask for help with any questions you may have about your application.

At some point soon, after you've spent some time with us, an officer will contact you for a brief interview. As our officers can be busy with raids and other duties, it may take a few days to contact you.

In regards to logging in and chatting, that would be impossible until i return to the states at the end of this year. I'm deployed right now overseas and just thought i'd get the application process started a wee bit early. If this is of any complication, i can re-apply when i return home if that is easier for the application reviewee's and for the AP invitation. I completely understand i'll have to be online to join

I didn't want to miss out on joining if AP decided to stop recruiting by the time i got home. I wouldn't mind having conversations on here either.

Welcome on our forums and thanks for considering AP a new home for you on Rubi-Ka.

So, don't worry, we have recruitment open, and it will remain open. You won't be locked out when you are back, and we appreciate how much involved you are in joining us.

So, when you are back, you can post again to tell us you're there, and then meet us in-game. No problem with that.

Or, if you wish so, and feel better like this, we can send you a few questions by email or simply by using the PM (Personal messages) system of our forums. That will be a "premiere", I think, but AP has always been a lot about innovation and human relations.

We will still have a very short chat in-game in this case, but most of the process will have been already completed already.
