I still have a soft spot for the first movie. Even with the technical plot holes. Less love for the second two, even though I liked parts of them.

The Dune movie looks like it should be ok. But, I'm not a fan of the acting of a couple of people in it. Hopefully, the rest will carry it.

The Dune rework is a larger wait than the Matrix one from the original.

I am ok with subtitles, but I detest dubs. I am a huge fan of the Man from Nowhere. It came to Peacock and had no option other than a terrible English dub. I've seen it so many times in Korean with the right voices, I couldn't even watch it. Whoever did it sounded like their sound studio was inside a tin can.
