With 1.7 coming, and having lusted over some of the New York Raid drops, I thought I'd write some notes on gear. There's a somewhat hard to follow thread on the official TSW forums about how to swap between tanks every 15sec or so. There are 3 ways I can see: 1) Tanks try to stay about equal in aggro - similar gear, +threat abilities. Use Provoke, and other lesser (they are ALL lesser abilities) to move ahead ...

Whisper of Darkness (the tank swapping attack), starts out at 1300 or so per tick (with a stack of 20), and ticks for less each second until it only hits for a 100 or so - right before it hits you for 10,000,000 on zero stacks. As long as you do not have aggro you are are "safe" at 0 stack...

I think it stacked with the Grandmaster re-usable potion. 2hrs of heal/tanking a quarry circle, had me finishing a couple weapons with 500+ AP ( I spent them about 4 times, before reaching the 175 cap - so may have been a bit more) - so worth doing for anyone who still has the weekend going, and isn...
