The sad part about it, is that the ones who decided not to smoke because they wanted to let the chance decide how they died, are affected by those who chose to smoke because of secondhand smoke.
I'm glad that in Quebec people can't smoke in bars anymore, it's a bit big brother-ish ( waaayy less than the UK ) but it makes us non-smoker and asthmatics happy.
No toxic siggarettes but the industry will never replce the nicotine and other stuff, saw a documentary about it and they add special addictic chemicals in it, they first need to find a replacement for this
I smoke, i also dont wanna live to 90 where i am a dependant on family, government whatever. Besides that if i ever get lung cancer or a painfull diseas that inevitebly kills IM A STRONG supporter for euthenasia.
Anyway no-one likes a quitter 8)

What is the use of introducing a feature of society (smoking), and centuaries later decide that it is unhealthy, and that smokers should stop, when smoking has become an extremely competitive market?
The original smoke that was consumed was not very appealing, simply addictive. Now, addatives help to ease the smell, and cigars are a symbol of upper class society.
Humanity needs to learn not to do wrong, instead of doing wrong and apolagizing later.
Who are the british to condemn the Opium wars in China after they introduced it?
Who are the americans to condemn the Iraqis for using US weapons against neighbouring countries?
The blame game, if it ever works, will be a much longer way of stopping a bad habit than not introducing it at all.
