10 euro or $ to upgrade +10 days free, then 15 euro or $ per month

Euro foreign exchange reference rates as at 30 November 2007
http://www.ecb.int/stats/exchange/eurof ... ex.en.html

USD US dollar 1.4761 = 1 euro
GBP Pound sterling 0.71455 = 1 euro

15 X $1.4761 = 22 euro

15x £0.71455 = 10.72 euro

is my maths right? if u live in USA u pay double money than europe?

Life in US is more expensive then in Europe

Post by Mophro »

If im not mistaken Life in US is more expensive then in Europe. Meaning that groceries bought in US would be about 2x more expensive then in Europe. But also wages are that way. As in you earn more money in US. That evens it out a bit.

I got it wrong or what?

No you are correct. (do a google search for i e "15 USD in EUR")
15 U.S. dollars = 10.17 Euros
15 Euros = 22.11 U.S. dollars

This is the current subscription payment options:
EUR € 14.95 †
USD $ 14.95
3 month recurring

EUR € 35.85 †
USD $ 35.85
6 month recurring

EUR € 59.70 †
USD $ 59.70
12 month recurring

EUR € 95.40 †
USD $ 95.40
Also, everything paid in EUR within the EU has a +15% VAT tax added.

So, take me as an example.

If I choose to correctly state that I live in Sweden, I will pay:
95.4 * 1.15 = 109.71 Euros = 1 029 Swedish kronor
if I would state that I live in, say, Canada I would instead pay:
95.4 U.S. dollars = 64.7306283 Euros = 607 Swedish kronor

So, for me it's VERY profitable to change my country to a USD-using one if I were to renew my subscription. I probably spend more money on coffee / year then AO would cost me :P

Us poor saps in europe end up paying more than those of you in the states :/
All in all considering the strength of the pound and the euro we should be paying 'less'.
You want it made ..... See me
You want it broken ... See me
You want it fixed....... Send your hampster to FC

bah, who needs school, you can just work for FC, I don't think they value education very much.

Well, I don't like to do real work so I put my hopes to 3½ more years at university before I have to do something for real ;) However I need to pass my courses to get student loan :P

...but it is very tempting to take the offer, LE expansion alone costs more then this offer.
