NAME CHANGE is now possible

It is now possible to change the name of your character(s).

This can be done on your account pages. https://register.funcom.com

Log on your account page and go to "All paid services".

Name change is possible for 1000 paid points per change. (These points must be available on your account so they must not have been transferred to your characters online to buy bikes and such.)

or they are sometimes given away by FC to active accounts (before an expansion so you can pay for it with paid points, on some anniversary day, etc.)

Note something important: changing the name does NOT change the character ID; so it is possible to track someone.

And if someone is registered on a bot, the bot will see it regardless of the change. For example, if "Joe" was registered on a bot and was announced when he logs in, and if Joe changes his name into "Sam", when Sam logs on, the bot will announce that Joe is logging on. (Of course the bot can be updated manually but the point here is to explain that you can't escape, because the character ID remains the same.)

I didn't mean toooooooo...and it was sir's loot anyways that I ninja'd, and he was sitting next to me...I was grounded for the day...didn't know a 30year old could be grounded but I was. He also made me buy him lunch, which I did, STEAK!
