Rojo you ok?
Rojo you ok?
Rojo, if you're in the weeds you can come and crash at my house in brisbane.
We're about 30m above the river, and it's highly unlikely it'll flood that high.
We don't have much, but we have a couch.
Let me know how you're doing bud.

Re: Rojo you ok?
Hey Guys,
Thanks for your concern. I'm in Hervey Bay, which is about 3.5-4hrs north of noobas. There have been floods all around us, but luckily we are not in danger. We have been completely cut off in terms of resources. Yesterday by about 11am all of the perishables (fruit/veg), all of the milk and bread and even toilet paper has been exhausted. Its silly cos the floods will receede in 3-4 days, but people were buying 10-12 long-life milks and 5+ loaves of bread.
I work in pharmacy so we are really struggling to get medications. We have the SES (special emergency service) flying in life-threatening medicaitons only and as minimal as possible. We had to provide 7 days of medications to a local aged care facility that is normally supplied by brisbane. So yesterday i worked 15 hours and today another 11 to get it out before the roads flooded again.
Its stressful to say the least, as there is just so much uncertainty, but we are always reminded when we listen to the news that we are incredibly lucky we are not over our heads in water.
What is most sad is that almost no insurance companies here will offer cover for natural flooding. So most families who have had their houses underwater will not have any official remuneration, other than fund raising.

Re: Rojo you ok?
Phew, was worried there for some time Rojo, happy to hear that your absence was "only" due to a lot of work!! Hope that you and Noobas are and will stay ok. About the insurance, I think it´s something that is when it´s caused by natural catastophies insurance companies have put in the policy that it does not cover! Sad, but many ppl are getting nothing every year that some natural damage of some kind, when their houses are messed up pretty bad.
Well anyway, happy to hear you are ok, and Noobas too
See ya guys ingame.

Re: Rojo you ok?
Good to know you are well Rojo, despite a difficult situation. And good to know you are safe now, Noobas. I hope there will be no damage done to your house.
Take care guys. We were -and still are- worried about you! Give us news as you can.
And good luck with the situation.
