I'm a 7 years (on and off, mostly on) player from RK1 with 200 Engi, 200 MA and 199 Agent there. All 3 in the neutral Elite Operations org. Also, a TL6 and TL5 Crat/NT/Trader in Midgar clan org.

Have about 10-12 more lower characters there. some are twinks.

I've played froob most of the time and expansions just a little bit.
Recently, I followed 2 of my buddies and made characters on RK2.
My NT (Bigbonent) is in the neutral org: "The House of Black Star" and will stay neutral in order to have access to 3 shopping channels and ooc channels.
I must say this was a very hard step for me because on RK1 I'm completely independent with end game tradeskilling Engi, Agent that can do all necessary buffs of other profs. Able to have each end game character online since they're on separate accounts and can multibox for a mini raid of my own. I have all my credits there and all my uberly years and years worth of accumulated twinking items there.
So, what I bring with me to RK2 is mainly experience and good spirit.
I wish to join Athen Paladins with my neutral level 60 advy because it seems to be an Active org which is important if you don't want to die of boredom.
If I'm accepted I will change side to clan of course.
Spoke in-game with Ineedamedic & Shaxydoob who seem to have a common buddy with me on RK1 that was a long time member of my neutral org that at some point switched side.

I understand it's an interesting challenge moving dimensions. Last year I rolled an MA on Rk1 (in Midgar as well), and I found it to be a fun adventure.
Please read the Code of Conduct, and, during your application phase, please try to join the AP bot (bobsan ) /tell bobsan !invite so we can get to know you.
If you cannot gain access to the bot, try to hunt for some AP's online through clan OOC channels, also, we hang out by vangaurds (org spot).
Application phase usually takes a week or two. During this time you'll hopefully be teamed a few times, and we'll have a few chats or interviews.

I've read the articles and rules from the links you posted, joined the org chat a few times and was interviewed by noobas.
My online times are generally whenever it's afternoon/night in Europe but it can vary because my job has no regular shifts and sometimes I leave my characters connected for long even if I'm not home.
