Rulzhade - 200 Shade - Computer literacy twinking

So, the shade star requires 1500 comp. lit. to equip, and I'm wondering if it's possible at level 200.

Base - 640
Setup - 685
S7 belt - 1.25
Trickle - 76
Expertise - 20
Attribute boost - 3
NS - 4
Grid house - 54
HQ - 2.25
Cookie - 0.5
iCRT - 0.75

Brings me to 1486.75, which is well within plausibility for using a tutoring device to tip me over the edge.

However, this setup uses a few questionable items, namely:
Strong Mittens of the Sagittarius - 1000 intelligence... doubtful (40 CL)
Alternative: Enhanced Jathos' Molybdenum Plate Gloves - 12.75 CL (27.25 less)

Cancer's Silver Boots of the Autodidact - Ditto (25 CL)
Alternative: Enhanced Jathos' Molybdenum Plate Boots - 12.75 CL (12.25 less)


First Creation of the Sagittarius - 1500 MC... don't want to max it (12.5 CL)
Alternative: Power of the Mind - 1.25 CL (11.25 less)

If I use all the alternative items, I lose a total of 50.75 computer literacy, at which point I need to double-tap the QL200 tutoring device, which is perfectly possible with combat knowledge 8 (3% + 5%), redeem last wish (20%), iCRT (3%), and the control unit pants in the setup (4%), giving me a 3-second window to double-tap the tutoring device.

So all in all, it's possible, but only barely.

You'll also lose 20ish pts from this setup since board is non-shade, you'll be using the borg board. You can cover that with tower contract though. Power of the mind is a bit hard to obtain at a good ql, might want to just use the focussed concentration bracer which gives 9 extra int.
Other than that I don't see anything that you might have missed.

Good call on the power of the mind -> focused concentration.

I'm not gonna do this until they drop the "Not Shade" tag off token boards (should be within a week or two).

AFAIK there's no contract or tower that adds comp. lit., there's one that adds int, which should give around 20-ish int at QL250, adding another ~5 CL, but if I can do it without contract changes, I will.

there's no org/tower contract for comp lit.

However, you probably have IP coming out your ears.

If you can get 600 tutoring, (150 from pioneer BP)

And perk all the way into Combat knowledge, for the skill lock modifer perk

You can double stack QL 150 comp lit tutoring devices for 38+38= 76 comp lit for about 1-2 seconds.

If you have lag, this is very hard to do. There are a couple of items that you can equip that add skill lock modifier, and these will lengthen the time you have the overlap for.

76 CL is not to be dismissed. you can substitute a LOT of small CL adding items in exchange for -skill lock, for far easier twinking results.

(A QL 200 tutoring device will buff CL by 50, but requires 1k tutoring skill).

I find QL 150 to be optimal for IP expenditures vs reward.

Tutoring device is calced in, as you can see from the last paragraph of my original post.

Lowest I can use (with the rings with fluff I have now) is QL138, and have to double-tap it of course.
