Hello paladins

Just wanted to let ppl know why i havent been online since the new patch.
I got some corruption error while pacthing,so installed the game over again and figured id try with a fresh pref file aswell just to be sure everything would work out well.. i hoped :\ took me about 1min to start crashing and eded up in a crash loop after a few.And sadly my account expired before i got to log fenris and "unstuck" him too see if it happens again.. bu im farly sure it will as the new patch seemed to make Ao even more "picky" about my Hw setup.. *sighs* so i wont be paying for a full month just to get that confimed im afraid :cry:
My hardware is farly old by todays standards, so ill prolly upgrade soon.. as Ao is the most demading game ive played in years lol :0)

Ill try get my but back ingame as fast i can afford hehe,until then Gl and Hf all :-)

Come back soon...lolol the other day I added my !logon to Where is KRS!! now Ill need to change it to I WANT KRS BACK!!

Missing you always....enjoy RK4 as much as you can, then get back :)

Krs....... Did you try to log in just after the 16.3 patch went live? Then everybody had a HUGE lagwave (5 mins to zone etc). Ask DH and me :wink:

Can you still try now? It has returned back to normal by now hehe 8)

Sadly it wasnt a matter of lag,Before the patch i had a problem with crashing now and then in outdoor inf areas (only on advy). usaly happend after 30-60 mins,and it accured rarely.. 1-2 times a day at most. after the patch i just started crashing over and over within a few mins. and since it was on a fresh install and i didnt use my old pref file i didnt really think it was going to improve :cry: and my account expired before i got to try solve the issue.
ill give Ao a new try once i can afford some new hardware, my current setup uses socket A and Agp :? witch means i need a lot of upgrading hehe, time for socket 939 and PciE i guess :-)

There has been a change to the graphics with 16.3. Pre-patch I could dual or triple log and I could happily keep all versions of AO up and running and alt-tab between them with no lag. Now, I have to minimise all but one version to get no lag. If I have 2 versions of AO up and alt-tab between, I am running about 1fps and can barely move the mouse. This is even if both characters are in an empty area facing a wall.

Just saw that thread, sorry I jave to catch up with many posts I missed while I was sick.

I'm sorry to hear about your problmes Krs. I hope you'll be back soon.

At the moment, AMD is lowerings prices on many CPUs, due to the new generation of Intel processors. Hope this will help.
