Hello my name is Mrtrashman and I would like to join Athen Paladins. I have been playing AO since 2008 with many large breaks in between.

I recently started playing again a month ago and joined an org, but it has low activity. I would like to be around more players/activity in a clan where I can talk to people, experience the new TL7 content, and learn/play a little PVP too.

My time zone is US PST or -7 GMT I am usually online (During this time)

Have always been Omni in the past, previously was in Mayhem (OTC) back in the day and most recently tried playing with Conquered Dreams but now open to changing to Clan if required by Athen Paladins.

Hi Mrtrashman and welcome on AP forums.

So, we are happy to welcome returning players as well as converted ex-Omnis who finally saw the light!

But, indeed, to join AP, you will have to make your characters Clans.

For 200- characters it's easy, you can use application forms sold in stores. For 220, it's more complicated and must be done in a paid way.

We understand someone can't always immediately turn all his characters into Clanners. In the case you keep Omni alts, these alts must not PvP against Clans at all (except in Battlestations), no wars , no "street PvP", nothing, or even help with PvP against Clans.

Of course, you can join with ALL your characters if possible. It's better.

If you feel ready for that, you wan continue with your application, as explained below, and we'll be happy to meet you.

2. ENTER OUR HOME

• Join our guest channel on our org bot ("Bobsan") so we can meet in Anarchy Online:
  • - Ask any AP member to invite you to our guest channel. Just say you are an applicant.
    You can usually find AP members at the ramp of the big Vanguards building near Old Athen Grid terminal (where the NPC Ramon Bauer stands).
    OR
    - Invite yourself: if you can’t find a member you can self invite by typing /tell Bobsan !join
  These are temporary invites: do it again each time you want to be on guest chat.
  
  Once on guest chat, feel free to introduce yourself and ask for an officer. Also ask for help with any questions you may have about your application.
  
  At some point, an officer will contact you for a brief interview.

3. FIND AN OFFICER TO TALK TO

• Help, questions, concerns, interview… Officers are here for you.
  
  Once you are on our Guest channel (see #2 above), do !online in chat to see who is online and to find any of the officers listed below.
  OR
  You can directly see if a specific officer is online and on what alt, by using the command !is in chat, like for example, !is Reyz will return the character(s) Reyz is online with.
