Isnt Thanksgiving when the americans killed of the indians ? :P

Actually, Thanksgiving is a (belated) harvest festival where the Pilgrims gathered with their bright and cheerful clothes (not joke: the representation of Pilgrims in dark attire with silver buckles on their shoes is historically wrong)

At the first Thanksgiving(s), the Natives were invited and all share the food happily, it seems.

It went bad, very bad, later for the Wampanoag people and others.
