Hi, friends.

I'm Communicore, a 206 Bureaucrat. I'm a lifelong neutral player who has played on-and-off since 2007. I live in the US in the EST timezone, but I work night shift as a nurse, and I have a nocturnal schedule, so I'm able to log in 0000-0900 Saturday through Tuesday nights.

I've never had a bad experience running content with AP members. They're consistently mature, friendly, and helpful. Most of my characters are in The Union, which I've been part of for more than a decade, but it's almost entirely inactive. A few AP players have told me, "We have a neutral org too," and suggested that I apply. Project is the member I've interacted with the most, and he's one of the most helpful, personable players on RK5.

I'm a well-behaved player, and I agree to the AP Code of Conduct.

Most of my paid characters have been inactive for years and are just GMI credit holders, so I'll just list the characters I've actually logged in the last year. I'll be making my first Trader once the Crat is maxed out, so there will be a fourth soon. If I can let go of my undying loyalty to my old dead org and its president, I'll move over my inactive characters too eventually, just so they're around if the org needs them.

Hi Communicore and welcome on our forums :)

Yes, we have a neutral org. It a place for AP members to put their neutral alts in, but the chats of that org and AP are totally linked together, so it's like if the neutral characters were in AP. Still, the neutral org has not activity in itself: it's all AP's activity. If that works for you, all fine.

The other solution being to switch your characters from neutral to clans. It's quite easy and the only concern is if you have made many "omni" choices, like Omni-only items, Unredeemed faction, Omni Shadowbreed,... Those would be things to redo or change.

As you have already met and played with AP members, and you know Projectbig, your application is going to be even faster than usual. And even more as you already read and accepted our Code of Conduct.

So let's list what is left to do. Not much.



YOU ARE JUST 4 (actually 1 is already done) SMALL EASY STEPS TO JOINING ATHEN PALADINS

2. ENTER OUR HOME
  • Join our guest channel on our org bot ("Bobsan") so we can meet in Anarchy Online:
    • - Ask any AP member to invite you to our guest channel. Just say you are an applicant.
      You can usually find AP members at the ramp of the big Vanguards building near Old Athen Grid terminal (where the NPC Ramon Bauer stands).
      OR
      - Invite yourself: if you can’t find a member you can self invite by typing /tell Bobsan !join
    These are temporary invites: do it again each time you want to be on guest chat.

    Once on guest chat, feel free to introduce yourself and ask for an officer. Also ask for help with any questions you may have about your application.

    At some point, an officer will contact you for a brief interview.

3. FIND AN OFFICER TO TALK TO
  • Help, questions, concerns, interview… Officers are here for you.

    Once you are on our Guest channel (see #2 above), do !online in chat to see who is online and to find any of the officers listed below.
    OR
    You can directly see if a specific officer is online and on what alt, by using the command !is in chat, like for example, !is Reyz will return the character(s) Reyz is online with.
