Had a lot of trouble getting i-net and router fixed.
It appears I got the router working (somewhat) but my dads pc seems to be messed up badly and I'm having trouble getting it fixed. Almost ran outta ideas. He seems to be able to recieve n send his e-mails, but he gets an access denied error upon trying to surf the web. Network controls says he can't access certain ports, possible caused by firewall settings, I've disabled all things I could manage to find but same problem keeps on popping up dammit. So it might take a little longer before I'm back on AO, (dad gets pissed if he can't get on i-net while I got less problems on my laptop then he has) still need to try to fix up his comp although I'm burned down on ideas.

On RK (network problems)
Re: On RK (network problems)
Well, we all hope you'll have it fixed soon.
Is there a way to totally disable the firewall in the router? (There should be one!) You could try that as a temporary solution, and install a software firewall like zonealarm (free) on each PC theoretically protected by the router. Zonealarm is not ports-based but applications-based so it's fairly easy to understand and configure (in fact you can configure it by just running your osftware and each time ZA will ask what you want to do or not to do with the application you launched.

This will give you all the time you need to understand what is wrong with the firewall of the router.
Also, make sure you don't have the firewall of the router running while another firewall is running too. Such a system is possible but may cause issues if not correctly set up.
