Well,
To those of you who i was teamed with on the weekend (tingting et all) and I logged off suddenly...my apologies. I'm probably going to be scarce for a few days. We have a funeral this week and my game computer is in the shop. I have AO on my laptop but just don't seem to be able to find the time to play it when I get home form work. Anyway, when everything blows over by the end of the week I should be back spewing my usual nonsense. Play hard for me and kill everything that pukes up cool sheist!

ok...thanks for all the good wishes. It all went fine and I am glad its over. I haven't posted for a while but as some of you know i've been in game for a bit now. Through the fun and good times I've had with some of you I can say that I'm 126 lvl now.
I've heard much about Inner Sanctum and I'd like to have some buds from AP join me for a romp if that would be ok. I loved ToTW and I heard that this is a higher lvl extension of that. So if anyone is up for seeing me FTD in there...I would appreciate it.
Also I think I need some advice as to where to proceed with my point distribution and armour upgrading ATM. I think I could be doing better with my armour at least. I should be on tonite and I look forward to spewing more of my nonsense with you all in game.

HI Fisty, I'm super stoked on your progress.

As soon as I'm back in game (probably this weekend or thereabouts) I'd be happy to come in there with ya. I like to bring my keeper in there, he's 170, but I can pretty much eat all the mobs on the first and second floor with heeem.

Plus, that would be a good re-introduction, since I've been out of game for so bloody long

Hey fisty,

I really need to go to IS also. My Crat needs the might of the reverant. Its a must for all people to have. Good add dmg, add strength and a nice root/snare resist every 10 mins or so!

I hope to have my crat at 220 in a week or so. Given how much you liked ToTW you'll probably make a few trips there so I will catch you on one. TO do a successful raid its best to have some old heads there on a few good 220's if you can get that going its all gravy.

In terms of IP (improvement points) allocation I cant really offer huge help. You will most probably want to look at www.auno.org and find the skills needed to upgrade your current nano's. So only raise to be able to equip the nano. You can factor in MP buffs and your own buffs. For the other skills always raise your agility (essential for evades), raise you duck-clsc, raise your SMG & Burst, keep Intell high, keep Comp Lit high, keep treatment high, keep nano-init and ranged-init high, keep run speed high. Keep body development high, keep nano pool fairly high. After you have raised these skills to as close to max as you can you can then fill the other spots with some of your spare IP. 1st aid will let you use better stims, so raise it to be able to use a decent health stim. Strength and Stam are ok for increasing HP and also better imps/symbs so consider when you can equip better symbs/imps, if you are ok for a while then dont need to max these out. Psychic will help your nano regain, is required for some imps/symbs & will trickle down to a few nano skills, same for sense except for the nano tick.

The main thing is that as the cost of IP gets higher you will find a whole level's IP lets you only max a few things, its just how AO is and everyone else will be in the same boat. You will also find that soon you will hit the dreaded "title level lock" where you wont be able to raise some stats until you go up to the next TL. Its kind of a blessing as you can then re-divert IP into other lines. The other point is that as long as you can keep up-to-date with buffs (run speed & ncu) other will be happy. Then just make sure your SMG is maxed to deal dmg and run speed/agility/evades/body dev is maxed to survive agg. the other things will fall into place later on. You eventually get enough IP to negate any mistakes you make and you can reset later on when you are uber. Everyone does it at some stage.

For armour you probably can do with an upgrade every 30-40 levels (if you want to be cheap). I dont know what armour is best for fixer in those levels. Best to ask some veterens who know what is what.

Woot!! thanks alot! Im lvl 129 now! I tried to lvl up to 130 the other night but I kept getting FTD no matter what I did. (I entered the hideout of the borgs at mort. I was holding my own with those red bar gumbies until I got double teamed.)
anyway...I will be on either tonite or tomorrow nite and would love to do IS! I should at least be able to lvl up to 130 in there!
(with my AP buddies of course! ) It'll do my heart good to be at ToTW again to enter that pace. I had such fun times there back in the day!

"stupid farm" lol.... What one are you going to? If you want some cool "outback" things there is the outback spectacular near Gold coast. Its pretty good (a little expensive) but you get dinner and a show....

Back to Fisty.... 130 is nice.... if you can manage i'd stay the course until 150 then re-do the armour and symbs. At 150 you should be able to get close to 200 armour on without too much fuss (well a little fuss). Once you hit 150 stay there and do some Sec10 (ai playfield) and you can even do a bit of BS (battle station) save up and get your OFAB on. Its a nice cheap armour. The cost is victory points which you can get in BS and also in LE missions by looting alien mobs and right clicking the samples (cell templates, mitochondria samples etc). BS is by far the best way, but you can expect to die alot.

Bring on 130 and IS though^^

Hooten Wootenjammer! I got to 130 last night! Now Id like to do IS and whatever else we can do now that I am 130. I await your descression. Also a lvl 14 dude hit me up for help last night. I told him that if he comes to vanguards that there are other paladins that could help him too. He was even newer than me if that can be believed. I felt for him as he was pretty lost as to who what when or where. I gave him a a goodly amount of cash and wished him well. I hope you don't mind that I told him to come by Vangaurds if he needs help because the situation reminded me of myself and this org's helpful attitude to me so I was just trying to help him.
Anyway...I will probably be on tonite. I look forward to seeing you my AO pals and rocking on.

ahh, I'm working down here boss.

Shes doing her MBA, and I'm working. Same company and stuff, just different office. I was lucky they could accomodate me in this way. It was also sort of beneficial for the company since a few of the projects I'm working on are in PNG, and flying aus-PNG =800$ flying can-PNG = 3000$.

So, I'm a lot closer for PNG projects, and also my new mentor works here, a senior geochemist who I'm working under.

good carreer move, I guess you could say.

So from the other night i can tell that you are kind of stuck in the dreaded 130's. Pretty much all levels from 125-150 you cant raise a single stat and you feel like you arent really going anywhere. Ely Hecks start to not give you as much XP as they used to etc etc. Maybe you should try and get your Ado ring? Its pretty easy, you just have to go to the top of scheol and then talk to ergo. He will give you a spirit tech metawater suit (so you can breathe underwater in ado) and your very own ado ring, its +5 to all skills so its a nice boost to your base skills, and XP. Also i'm sure you could coat tail on some alliance/AP ado hecks to level you to 150 nice and fast. Once you start getting TL capped there's not much point in sticking around in that TL as you wont get any better until the next TL ding (150 for you). Also at 150 we can try to pimp you out a bit and you can get in on TL5 BS, where you can then get OFAB armour etc.

If you want help getting to ado send me a tell, or ask in org chat. I'm hapy to mezz mobs all the way to ado, and inside ado, also to get you an insig to save in garden.

I also have an arith sleeve and gloves you can have/borrow to help with nano skills. Together they will add 30 to your skills. If you can get someone to help out with observant bots you can turn those int o combined scouts armour and it will add evades also. Let me know anyway since they are only about ql 140's and you may have something better.
