Going to Netherland 12th to 19th of July

I'll be on vacation in Amsterdam from 12th to 19th of July.

I might be able to pop by forums and such, but if you really need me, you can prolly find me in Redlight District, Hardrock Cafe or on NM Schipol Airport Hotel (I'm the drunk norwegian sitting in the bar)

On a more serious note though. If anyone from the netherlands want's to meet up, feel free to contact me before I leave on early Sunday morning. I've already arranged to meet with an old UHS vet from Utrecht some day during my stay.

Netherland? The Netherlands!

Well, have a lot of fun here in Holland.. do remember that there's more to my country than just "Amsterdam", weed, wooden shoes, tulips, windmills, et cetera.

You could go to some more country-side pieces of Holland, the trains (NS, Nederlandse Spoorwegen) are fairly good and at least these days they seem to be on time usually. I don't really know much interesting spots near Amsterdam though, since I'm from Den Bosch and studying in Nijmegen - while most of you US/Aussie peoples will laugh at me, 2-3h of traveling is considered very far here in Holland.

Soooo again, have fun in the bestest and coolest country evar to be on earth!

Seems I'll be meeting up with Touarella and Ludozee in Utrecht at least, and we're going to visit Rotterdam also.
I know there's lot's to see in Netherlands, and in Amsterdam also, other than the things you mentioned (I don't do weeds, but I know you have good beer and some uber rom). We're also planning to go to Madam Tussaud's Vax Cabinet and to Visit Anne Franks house.

How far from Amsterdam by train is Nijmegen though? You never know, I could drop by :p

Anotherepic visit (for me it was) going to Haarlem. In the center of town is a church, and, while the church isn't particularly amazing by european standards, the organ set is very amazing. The church there has the largest (or 2nd largest) organ set in western europe, and they put concerts on in the afternoons.

That was one of my highlights when I was in holland. That and the ladies.
