free Early Access / Grace Period codes

EDIT: Topic now out of date, Early Access won't work now that the game has launched.

I've got 2 pre-order codes (will explain that in a minute) for SWTOR if anyone wants to try it.

NOTES:

* To use these codes you'll have to download and install SWTOR. That means a 25GB download. Please don't take a code unless you really will do this.

* This code will only be valid for play through 12/22 (launch is 12/20 + 2 days grace period). So it is really just a way to PREVIEW the game. It will not give you a license to play past the grace period.

* You don't immediately get into Early Access. However if you sign up today you should get in Saturday or Sunday. Which would mean you have 4-5 days of play time to eval the game over the weekend + next week.


IF YOU USE A CODE, PLEASE POST HERE so that people know the code is taken. Also note that codes have a tendency to be screwy (part of why I have extra codes) so these may or may not work. I can't check ahead of time because it is going to use the code if I do.

PS. The reason I have the codes is because I pre-ordered the Collector's Edition a month or so ago and the code Best Buy gave me was already used. I complained to both Bioware and Best Buy ... and both eventually coughed up a spare code ... so I used one code and had another spare. Then today I decided I didn't want the Collector's Edition badly enough ($150 versus $60 ... and I'm just not loving this game enough to commit to multiple years playing it) so I cancelled my CE and ordered the downloadable digital edition ... which ... included a pre-order code.

Just to reinforce the point ... if you want a code, take a code. First come first served, I just don't see a point in them going to waste if someone out there is interested but unsure about buying the game. Just post if you take one.

If you tried today, its because the game launched on 12/20. I'll close this thread and remove the codes. Sorry for any confusion.
