Coruscant World Boss Raid
Coruscant World Boss Raid
I'm not sure if this is supposed to go in the Forums\Raids area. Anyway, I'm going to get online earlier tonight (6pm CST /midnight GMT) to try to participate. I guess we dont have an actual time scheduled yet, but this is the earliest I will be able to pull off (pending something at work that keeps me there)

Re: Coruscant World Boss Raid
Sorry, something unexpected happened IRL and I had to take care of it so I was not online at all tonight GMT.
We will do this raid next night GMT.
What about Thursday to Friday night at 1:00 GMT so 8 PM EST for US members? Please say.

Re: Coruscant World Boss Raid
No problem for me, I'll adapt. What do others say?
Anyhow, we'll have more boss raids. This one is just to start understanding how we can manage them.

Re: Coruscant World Boss Raid
Contrary to things like Beast raid in AO or Mercenaries raid in AO, there is no long travel to Planet Bosses or long spawning process. The bosses are there (or it's just a click) and high levels can easily open the way. In some situations, a lower level could even probably travel alone on a speeder and make it to the boss location.
Once there, for the Coruscant boss at least, I think it's a matter of ten minutes. I took it down to 2/3 life alone at level 39, before running out of Force and having my companion killed.
So maybe we need like 30 minutes total, travel included.
I don't think it will be much different with the next planet. After that... no idea.
The above of course assumes:
- Planet bosses don't have special last minute tricks
- Planet bosses behave like normal bosses, like in AO. I mean they don't reinforce themselves (or not too much) depending on the number of people around or they don't hit people for relative values based on levels or things like that. (Like the Great Monsters in City of Heroes)
