i pre-ordered the game and all that, but the payment still says its pending. has been so for about 3 hours. I hope this is just a backlog on the forums.

Email support if it's not solve in a few hours. people DO have issues with the crappy account pages. Tell support how awkward the pages are, really. You will not only solve your issue but you will helmp everyone.

Stupidly enough, your name and PW should be the ones you used for your specific TSW account you created to order the game.

So if your used

• name rojothebig
  pw tinyrojo

for your new account
you use that as username and PW for the beta forum.

Oh.... you didn't want the name you used to be displayed?! Too bad.

But check if in your new account page the option "set forum name" is now available and, if so, try changing it.


And send email to say their system is just awful.

i used the ones for the TSW thingo but it didnt work. It also then didnt accept my email as being a valid one when i elected to reset my P/W.

I know, it's keeping on asking me for my codes when I try to connect to anything else than my AO account ATM, and rejects me. I assume it's more or less the same issue.

But strangely my (public) beta forum account works with my pre-order account codes... the very ones that I rejected when I try to go to my account page... go figure. Deeper and deeper...

I've registered on the bet forums just as I do with AO forums...

There's an option in the account page for your TSW account to set your Forums name and PW...

i looked on my account page for forums and it says :

This subscription does not have access to the forums!
Upgrade your subscription to get forum access.

I dont really know what that means:

Do you have a beta key? Beta access? You need beta access to be able to log on FC's beta forums.

I raid your OP wrong and assumed I needed to be registered on the forums to get beta access.

A CS rep told me the same as you did, its the other way around.

So i dont know when I would be recruited as a beta tester, i guess in the may weekends

Click on all the "register for beta" banners and links you can find, and enter a different -but real- email each time. You will increase your chances. 'Except if everyone does the same ofc.)

And get ready for a rough trip... it's not an easy world. Brain highly required. (But you got a brilliant one!)
