Engi PVP

Since we need to kick omni back to the stone age again ive been thinking on how to use my engi to pvp. currently im using a 300 kyr pistol and onehander shotgun as many people suggest. However i have found that i have real problems on the field with actually hitting people.

My bots dont respond for several minutes so are next to useless. And the range on my onehander is 12m. with a scope and range increaser this goes upto about 25~m is there any other way to increase this or do i have to keep running out the front of the clan lines to actually do something (this usually ends up with me dead).

High level engineers have, well, a real good alpha protection

They can use special blockers so they don't get AS-ed too much, and hit cocoon for absorbs.

My tactic I'd advise is hit all defense perks/items, use MoR to keep unrooted, and just run around unload alpha. Rinse Repeat?

nice i hadnt realised motr is 100% ressit root

is there a version of withered flesh for is as well for more cocoon layers?

Engi alpha? hmm its not much. im lucky to get a 3k AS :/ (only got 1k AS skill)

maybe i should stick to cornering 220 sols on there own in a non lagy enviroment.
