I'm checking out Ghost, they have a nice progressive sound with some Opeth influence.

Epic topic ! My 2 cents selecta :
Re: What you listen to atm ?
For the listening pleasure of Reap, but also for other music amators in AP, here's a short presentation & selecta of an underground french unclassable band active since the 70's : MAGMA.
Build around one of world's alltime top drummer, this project has evolved fusionning genres as various as progressive rock, proto-metal, jazz & gospel, operatic classical ... wich makes it an UFO of the musical scene.
Enough words now, let's listen through their work with a selecta. Be ready !
"Last 7 minutes", opening an excellent album named Attahk! (designed by Alien's HR. Giger)
"Hhai", a major element of group's live session - wich even became its anthem
"Kohntarkosz", a 2-parted waving exploration here executed by nowadays formation
"MDK", one of the group's masterpiece (even if it's an hard one to enter in at first)
"Iss Lanseï Doïa", an older jazzy work from 1001° centigrade, always stood on my favorites
"De Futura", one i'm adding because of the crazy bass trance occuring after 8 min
I'm stopping it here, but cannot avoid to encourage anyone liking these excerpts to dive deeper in MAGMA's universe ... and eventually go meet them in concert !

Makes ya want to light up a bowl/bong/joint eh?
Re: What you listen to atm ?
A favorite of mine... without lighting up anything, even if it's Bob Marley
